Forneria do Largo — Restaurant in São Brás de Alportel

Visited this place last night. It was busy and were told we would have to wait 30 minutes, not a problem we would go next door and have a drink. Told to sit on their tables the other side of the road and they would bring a drink over. 30 minutes later, still no drinks. Then we watched as others nearly took the next available table, luckily we won through and were seated outside. Then ignored for another 20 minutes, while they served others who arrived after. However, once served the pizza 's were excellent. But it wasn't enough to convince us to return. This was our second visit, being local we knew it...

We had 2 Pizzas and 1 salad. The Pizzas were dry and the salad had a yoghurt dressing that I found too sweet and greasy. What annoyed me most though was the fact that we were only allowed to pay cash even though they had a credit card machine in the place. The waiter just pointed us the direction of an ATM that we had to go to in order to get cash. The „bill“ was not printed but only shown to us on a smart device. Not a good service and left me with the feeling that this place takes regulation...

Very bad experience service wise.

We waited 10minutes before someone ask us if we want a table (2 people)

We were given a table inside, in front of toilets.

We waited 35min, no one came, not even to give us a menu.

The waitress served the three tables around us twice, never took care of us.

We’re very patient, polite and understanding people.

This however was beyond acceptance.

We stood up, left and went to the next pizzeria: completely different experience...
