Hamburgueria da Villa — Restaurant in São Brás de Alportel

We decided to visit this place based on all the positive reviews, and I was genuinely excited to try what I hoped would be some amazing burgers. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype.

To be completely honest, the burgers were underwhelming. The chicken burger, in particular, was a bit of a letdown — it was more like a breaded chicken schnitzel than a proper, juicy burger. The fries were just okay,, not bad, but definitely nothing special.

I’ve also tried one of the local beers, which, unfortunately, wasn’t to our taste at all probably one of the least enjoyable beers we’ve had.

The service was fine and the place itself has potential, but based on our experience, we left feeling a bit disappointed. Maybe we just caught them on an off day, but I wouldn’t be in a hurry to return.

We paid around €35,- for 2 burgers 1 large beer...

The hamburgers are fantastic. The service is rather lacking. The staff needs some training. Ordered some piri-piri and was presented with an almost empty, dirty bottle and Tabasco sauce. This was disappointing. The restaurant was almost empty at lunch time. Perhaps they have more business at dinner time but l wouldn't be surprised to know they have little repeat business. Management should be more involved in...

We came in half an hour before closing, Mathilda was willing to serve us (again: thank you so much)! When ordering, we had a very nice chat with Mathilda.
