Restaurante O Canhão II — Restaurant in Sesimbra

Didn't even had a chance to sit down. The service is terrible, unorganized and the waiters don't have a common sense on how to address to people properly. There were several tables available, including a whole room with empty seats, but they said there was no table for me and my party of 4. There was a table for 2 available and another was about to move out. Tried speaking to the manager, one of the waiters just said: "He's inside, just find Sr. João." So I had to ask everyone who that was. After this I asked if they could move the 2 tables together but they said it wasn't possible. The 2 tables were 2 meters apart from one another. I went there with a Portuguese friend and we ordered a whole Pregado for two (almost 1kg). It was fresh from the day and amazingly cooked. It came with with salad and you can choose to get rice or potatoes with green. I took an apple tart without ice cream on the top and it was really delicious too. We were looking for a place to have a late lunch on a Monday (in the winter, no less) and we saw that Restaurante o Canhão was open. As we got closer, we saw on the signboard that one of the plates of the day was octopus rice. We both ordered that dish and when it was arrived my fiancée, who is a professional chef, and I thought it was delicious! Perfectly seasoned with a good ratio of octopus to rice. And our server, Justo, could not have been nicer. We highly recommend...
