We ordered the entrecôte for two and both got a very tough and almost raw piece of meat. It must have been either a different cut or really bad quality meat. They put it back on the grill for us, but it was still raw and still not edible afterwards. The veggies were tasteless as well. Another person of our group had beef as well, which was similarly bad. Muralha Valença es uno de esos restaurantes a los que siempre volvemos cuando pasamos por la zona. Lo conocemos desde hace años y para nosotros es siempre un acierto seguro. Eso sí, es muy recomendable reservar, porque se llena rápido.

🍽 Comida: 4/5 Las raciones son gigantes, de las que perfectamente comen 2 o 3 personas, así que ojo al pedir. La carne es el plato estrella: excelente producto, bien cocinado y en su punto. El bacalhau à Brás, en cambio, esta vez nos salió un poco seco y con poca sal… aunque por otro lado, eso también tiene su punto, porque así puedes sazonarlo a tu gusto. Las guarniciones están muy buenas y bien servidas. Como siempre, nos faltó probar el postre, pero así ya tenemos excusa para volver.

🧑‍🍳 Servicio: 5/5 El restaurante estaba a reventar y, aun así, fueron rápidos y atentos. Además, nos reconocieron de otras veces que hemos ido, lo cual nos hizo mucha gracia y siempre suma puntos en el trato cercano.

✨ Ambiente: 4/5 Todo está limpio y cuidado, y dentro se está de lujo gracias al aire acondicionado. La terraza es agradable, pero aquí viene la pega: en días de calor se hace difícil disfrutarla porque apenas hay ventiladores. Es una pena que un detalle así arruine un poco la experiencia, porque el resto está a la altura.

📝 Conclusión Muralha es un clásico para comer bien y en cantidad en Valença. Ideal si buscas buena carne, raciones generosas y un servicio amable. Solo pediría que pongan un par de ventiladores más en la terraza, porque por lo demás, sigue siendo un sitio al que volveríamos una y otra vez. Además, tienen un menú especial para...

As soon as we sat down two servers placed a number of dishes on our table including 2 cheese platters with sardine patê, olives, and assortment of savoury pasties, we moved the dishes to the end of the long table indicating we didn't want them.
