If you are tired of dining in so called "tourist traps" where the food quality, ambience and service are average, do not hesitate to visit American Club Tapas Food & Cocktails! The owner, who is also a chef, is a very friendly, cordial and open person, who will take care of your stomach and mood well. I recommend bacalhau (cod) in cream sauce - it is simply the best. Pork loin ordered by my friends was also delicious. This is the food that you know it was made with heart. Feel free to order some drinks too - pitcher of sangria with apples is so aromatic... P.S. I have been a regular at American Club Granja every time I visit Portugal since 2015. I have no words to describe the wonderful experience ! The location 5* the service 1000* and the quality of the food and drinks is also great. I can't possibly rate this place highly enough. As a large family I had my concerns when I realised the owner (Joe) does everything himself, he is bartender waiter and head chef. I needn't have worried, he welcomed us in, served drinks took a lunch order and had us fed within the hour.
