This is a restaurant we regularly go to when craving some standard asian fusion food. Usually we are happy with the service and over all food regarding price/quality relationship. So you can imagine our surprise when we had this deeply disappointing experience ordering takeout. The fish was simply not fresh, couldn't be, with an off-putting taste (alarming when we are talking about raw food), and the overall quality of the remaining dishes was just extremely poor, spaghetti pasta posing as noodles, bland tasteless clearly frozen chicken and canned tuna sushi rolls. Most of the meal was inedible and being afraid to get some sort of food poisoning (we had a person with some gastric conditions with us), we couldn't just risk it and decided to throw out most of the meal. You can understand how upset we were just from the standpoint of wasting food, let alone the poorly spent money. To make matters worse, once we got there to pick up the food, they told us they only accepted cash SPECIFICALLY FOR TAKEAWAY (they had a card machine for everyother operation right on the counter, riddle me that), forcing us to scramble around the block to find an ATM. Overall, a frustrating and wasteful experience. And i don't know if it was the situation that opened my eyes or just some straightforward negative biased, but I started noticing some behaviours that lowkey smell of bad practice and just greedy inclinations: they purposely scratch out their prices from everywhere (online, panflets, etc.) so they can fluctuate it at will, in 5 months they increased their buffet price €4, standard run-of-the-mill sushi fusion like theirs is not worth €23 per person, nor those tiny little takeway boxes worth €10. As well as someother negative service situations we experienced on occasion, like poor management of the people on the waiting line to get a table and a huge language barrier with some of the waiters. Again, just a really disappointing and maybe eye opening experience. I don't think I'll be recommending or coming back. There are a ton of other much better asian fusion restaurants, with better prices and overall quality you can take your...
Read moreWe had lunch here yesterday to celebrate my birthday. It was our first and we did not regret it. We chose to visit this restaurant because of its review and location close to our home. This restaurant is located in Vila Nova de Gaia clode to Brico Gaia.
Pros Free parking with limited spaces. We arrived around 1 pm and there were still many spaces available. The entrance and whole restaurant have a great decoration. They have many tables available for small or big groups. When we arrived, there were still many tables available. Each table is equipped with one tablet for order. You need to wait for 15 minutes to place another order. I can say that the sushi is good and fresh. The sushi rice is soft. Most of the sushi we ordered was tasty and delicious. The staff is attentive, nice, and friendly. You must eat all your orders. Otherwise, they will charge you for the waste food. Free wifi and restroom. Payment in cash or multibanco. Drink is not included to the price, but you can get free desserts of fruits.

Read moreThere's a modern and inviting atmosphere, you feel a high expectation from the moment you arrive. However, there aren't as many seats as in other places I've been, but this doesn't affect the experience at all. There was a steady flow of people, which speaks volumes about the place. Regarding the food, I always order the same thing: shrimp and prawn appetizers. Here, everything was top-notch! Sizes, flavors, freshness, just order them, there isn't a bad appetizer. On the other hand, with the rolls, I only like the hot roll style they sell in these places, and... what a surprise! They definitely add their special touch, which does indeed make them stand out from the other places I've visited. The service was quite average, it was noticeable that they were busy, but no one was rude. It's just that I'm used to exceptional customer service in Porto, but everything was okay. The price is average, so it's definitely worth going. We'll be visiting the Matosinhos location soon, to see...
