Ruan Thai has a very nice atmosphere, comfortable chairs, relaxing Thai music, decorative lights and is very clean. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We ordered Som Tam, Chicken Gyozas, Shrimp and Chicken Pad Thai and a mango sticky rice to finish off.
The Som Tam was very nice, a good balance of acidity, sweetness and savoury, topped off with a nice heat from the fresh chillies. A little more crunch would have been nice here, maybe some long beans could have been good to add.
The chicken Gyozas were nice and came with a well matched sauce. They were not seared which could be good or bad depending on your taste.
The Pad Thais were well made, but could have done with some more vegetables. A bit of a crunch from bean sprouts or other veggies was the only thing missing in my opinion. Other than that I have no complaints, definitely one of the better Pad Thais I’ve tasted in the Algarve.
The mango sticky rice was great. Juicy mango, well cooked purple rice and a lovely sauce.
Overall very happy with the food, service and atmosphere. Prices are very fair. Will definitely be...

I understand that some ingredients might not be readily available in Portugal but I am convinced you...
