Upscale fresh seafood and steak restaurant about a 15 min walk from the main park, a pleasant hidden gem we found during our stay in Viseu. Seems like there not a ton of restaurants in the area. Glad we found this place! Excellent sautéed prawns with garlic for an appetizer and stuffed portobello with crab meat plus scalloped Gratin served in a fancy seashell. The staff were super friendly and attentive, the girl speaks perfect English. The food is fresh and tastes good in general. However, I think it's not worth the value. We had 1 fish cataplana for 2 cost €30, 1 choco frito €6(super small starter), 2 sparkling waters, 2 beers and it cost total €43. It took very long to serve us as well, consider choco and fishes, prawns don't need to cook for long. The price on the menu did not include taxes. He celebrado allí mi Santo y la fuente de marisco que tomé estaba muy elaborado y no sabía nada a marisco...mucha bechamel para disfrazar lo poco que había y mucha mayonesa...menos mal que había taquitos de pan tostado para llenar ...queríamos tomar un pescado después del marisco y la camarera nos dice que no ..que ya es tarde para pedirlo..eran las 14.15 h de un sábado...pues le dije que si llegaba para comer la fuente del marisco y nos dice que si ..que tomáramos luego un postre...es la primera vez en mi vida que un restaurante te quita de comer xq es tarde y menos a una hora que para los españoles es normal comer y un sábado además..había solo tres mesas ocupadas ...nos sentíamos mal de ver como las dos camareras que había no nos quitaban el ojo para que apuraramos a comer y venga ver el reloj de seguido..pero como era marisco se tuvieron que esperar.
