This is a small restaurant with a nice ambiance let down by the sushi quality.

I went with a group of friends to have dinner expecting a high quality given the existing reviews.

The starters were really good, specially their almond shrimp tempura which everyone enjoyed.

The sushi itself was a bit bland with some good pieces in-between but not enough to warrant the asking price. Our table ordered 2 sushi combos (a 48 and a 32) and neither had a single sashimi piece, which came as a surprise to us, in contrast there was a large amount of fried pieces. It's clear the focus is more on the fusion side of sushi even though the combo menus are presented as a mix of both traditional and fusion sushi.

The whole table ordered the "chokoreto" dessert on recommendation of one person who had previously dinned there and everyone was equally disappointed by it, maybe it was an off day?

Sadly we left with no intention...

I am not a fan of sushi, but I am always keen to try new places. The restaurant is neat and tidy, big enough for their niche market. Plenty of parking upfront and easy to get to. It has an outside area as well as inside. COVID protocols were applied. Service was not outstanding. When we arrived, we were told our table number but not shown to the table. Then the waitress presented us with a plastic cards with a qr code o it without explanation and left. I tried scanning it but my phone did not appreciate it. She then came back and told us it was a menu. She brought us a real one. I had no idea what we ordered. It arrived. Salmon with crunchy tempura. Really tasty. My pork something was not great. The sushi plate looked good and my friend said it was tasty. My noodles with prawns were also tasty. Worth the money.... not quite. But nice for...

We were recomended to go and were not disappointed. They have really good and fresh sushi. Lots of from classic to modern choices. Everything delicious. We had an excelent waitress that helped us understand the menu and customize the 16 pz plate to salmon for the kids. They also have some non sushi plates that were also good.
