Amazing food, best restaurant in Viseu! I highly recommend for family meal, or if you're in Viseu. So much food, you're left feeling very satisfied (even if you're not able to eat everything!). A lot of starter food, including olives, bread, cheese and ham. Also some fried Cod Fish, very delicious, and other things. I ordered the Fish Rice which has some prawns and Monkfish with rice in a delicious sauce. There is a lot, and you probably want to share. For dessert I got a Cheesecake with some red fruit sauce, also amazing and soft, a light dessert. Great value for money! Will come back next time...

Traditional restaurant in the Portugal’s countryside. It is specialized in “arroz de cabidela” which is chicken with rice cooked with the chicken’s blood and vinegar (among other things). It sounds strange but it is delicious. If you are nearby you should definitely try it. Desserts are home made. My favorite is “leite crème”, which is a traditional Portuguese dessert (like the Spanish creme catalana), made of milk, eggs and sugar, served with sugar on top which is caramelized right before serving it. For appetizer ordered octopus salad and main dish was monkfish rice with prawns which was delicious. The dessert was average. Great wine selection.

I'm not giving 5 stars only because of the poor service.. When we ended up our meal no one asked us if we want dessert or coffee. Had to ask twice for the coffee.
