A frustrating experience I wouldn’t want to repeat. Early in the morning, I sat at a table and tried ordering a few items. I could clearly see the medu vada was ready, placed either on the shelf and in the kitchen. But when I ordered, the owner refused, saying, “It’s for the evening snacks. We can’t sell it now.”
Then I asked for a ghee roast, and the response was, “The tawa is not free now; we are making parottas.”
This left me wondering — is the restaurant opened for the customers or just for the convenience of the owners?
Even though the food was visibly ready, the refusal to serve it just didn’t make sense. Customer service seems to be missing here. What’s the point of having tasty food if you’re not willing to serve it to those who ask for it?
