Taverna Greceasca Dionysos — Restaurant in Ploiești

Nice restaurant with taisty, good looking food and balanced portion sizes. Nice environment with good positioning for us to come by foot and drink something. For the service I had two criterias that made me to gove 3/5 stars for the service. First of all, we had 3 menus at a table with 6 people, I usualy prefer to have 1 for each. And then was the order that got messed up after a 35 min wait. One of the six ordered dishes had to be returned because the waiter didn't noted down the order and I do belive he forgot and kinda guessed something thaty friend ordered. Of course, he messed up.

A decent Greek restaurant. The waiters speak good english and menu comes with pictures. This made it especially useful for non-native speakers and tourist. The food is delicious but can definitely do better with more Greek elements. The fried platter of assorted Greek specialties is good but too oily. The seafood are frozen before cooked and not of fresh produce from the market. There are a good selection of beverages to suit the preference of different individuals. I eat too much and I am fussy but this restaurant ticks all the boxes. The service, food, music and ambience are second to none. Real traditional greek food trust me I know because I am greek cypriot and I belong to a family of cooks. The fish juicy and tender, the choices vast, portions enormous. If you want traditional greek food don't waste your time just come here and give it a try I promise you will not be disappointed. Try to book as they are very very busy and will refuse seating as they don't want to let the standards slip by being greedy and filling too many tables. I came here 4 years ago and it just gets better and better every time...
