Best restaurant to have Indian food in Moscow or St Petersburgh. I went to many Indian Restaurants in Moscow/St Petersburgh during my visit to Russia. I found this restaurant the best Indian Restaurant. First of all, its food was very good but even more important than that, this Indian restaurant is located in bigger building having its own very good facilities. Most of the Indian restaurants in Russia are located in small portions of buildings having one or two not very clean toilets which is very much negative for the tourists. Since this bigger building was having its own very clean multiple toilets the restaurant guests also use the same. Hence no problem. I'm a Brit living in Moscow and I know, and love, my curries! My girlfriend and I have tried almost all the Indian Restaurants in Moscoe and I can hand-on-heart say that this is the best we've tried. Many people think it's Darbars, but I felt this superior. I'll be honest, it wasn't cheap, but the quality of the food was worth the extra cost. I'm surprised to read a few negative reviews about the staff, because our waiter was superb. The food came out quick and hot and thoroughly cooked. The only other negative I could possibly mention was that we both felt the music was a bit loud and could have been quieter and calmer for a Tuesday night.
