Little India — Restaurant in Novosibirsk

Happened to visit this place in St. Petersburg, Really got a feel like I am at home. The staffs were all so accommodative and very much friendly. The food was delicious and the ambience was great that we spent more than 2 hours and actually do not wanted to leave the place. Need to mention about Kumesh Dhevarasan - The Hotel MD- He was very professional, his hospitality was overwhelming. He ensured that we are comfortable as if we are having our food in our country and in our own place. We tried more options Both from South & North varieties – Right from Idly, Dosa to Panneer tikka and Veg Biriyani. The must visit place in the locality. Food ranges from good to very good. Lots of healthy options. Service is good. Prices is about right for the quality of the food, service and ambiance. The only thing that wasn't up to high standards is the actual decor and layout of the restaurant. I still found it charming in a manner that you would expect of a restaurant from the Asian continent from the 1980's. So highly recommended if you want a more old time or authentic feel, but probably not the place for a first date with a girlfriend who has more modern sensibilities. I would happily take friends, family, and even business partners there, but again not on a first meeting with them. I am actually impressed...

Индийский ресторан, хотя я назвала бы его кафе. Еда, как в Индии, готовит повар индус. Когда только зашли в кафе, видели его, улыбчивого и гостеприимного. Блюда, которые заказывали, все понравились, вкусно. Заказывали горячие блюда ягнёнка (Malai Chicken) , курицу не острую (для ребёнка) Chicken Keema Kebab, рис Басмати со специями Jeera Rice, курица Methi Chicken, острое блюдо курица Hyderabad Chicken, лепешки индийские (по просьбе приготовили без масла). Все это понравилось, ребёнок даже съел и наши порции, потому что очень понравилось. А рис заказывали несколько раз, сьедали в два счета. С алкоголем там проблема. Не смогли заказать вино сухое французское, хотя в меню было, не оказалось даже российского. Единственное, что было это аргентинское вино неизвестного названия. Пришлось заказать шампанское, принесли розовое российского происхождения, даже забыла название, оно нам не понравилось, еле-еле допили его. Если бы не это, то впечатление было бы лучше по отзыву. Музыка приятная индийская. В этом ресторане уже второй раз. Год назад были здесь, тоже остались хорошие...
