Today we had an utterly wonderful meal at Kabul Kigali. The pilaw was fluffy and flavourful, with a generous serving of tender cooked lamb. The Boolani, (chive-stuffed flatbreads) were caramelised, crispy yet wondefuflly tender and light, and came with a green chilly dipping sauce thay provided a gentle kick of spice. The star, though, were the Manto: succulent meaty dumplings served with a zingy youghurt sauce and a rich and flavourful dahl. Ali and his family are wonderful hosts and every item on their menu is prepared fresh and with great skill and care. Read moreI had an amazing experience at Kabul Kigali Restaurant! The Manto dumplings were absolutely delicious – soft, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. I also tried the Qabuli Pulao (Kabuli Pilaf) and honestly, no words can describe how tasty it was – rich, aromatic, and cooked to perfection.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are very friendly. A special mention to Ali for his excellent service – he made the experience even better with his kindness and attention.
