The location is great and the atmosphere is lovely — until our food arrived.

We ordered a lobster and steak combo, as well as a separate lobster set. The lobster was not fresh at all — it was served at room temperature, and the head was slightly blackened. As people who eat lobster often, we can confidently say this lobster was not fresh and had been stored for some time.

Now, let’s talk about my steak. I ordered it medium, but when it arrived and I cut it open, it was clearly medium well to well-done. I called the waitress over to discuss it. After she admitted it wasn’t medium, she took the steak away. A few minutes later, my steak was brought back — and to my surprise, it was the same steak, reheated. I was honestly shocked. I asked her why they did that, and she told me, “This is a medium steak,” then turned and left. That was it — no further explanation, no apology. I didn’t continue eating my steak.

When I visit Samoa from California, this restaurant is always a must on my agenda. I visited in March, terrible service! I just figured it was due to not making a reservation for a party of 5. I’m visiting again & made sure to make a reservation for a party of 8 at 7:30. We were seated at 7:20 and our drink order was not taken until 7:45. Our food order was taken at the same time. I had to ask on the status of our food at 8:49. The gal kept making excuses of how many orders they had and that they were busy, and I was not having it. We received our food at 9:10. I placed our dessert order at this time so we can have it after our meal & not wait. Well, we waited! A few of the steaks ordered were burnt! They had several items on their menu that were not available. Customer Service was horrible! Not 1 employee apologized for the inconvenience. Our bill was a little over $1,100WST and we Americans love to tip on service excellence. Not only did they miss out on a large tip they will definitely miss out on a loyal customer from overseas. Came here for dinner with my friend after a long day of filming and I tell you the staff is absolutely amazing. The place was fully reserved and because the ladies saw we was hungry and tired they made an exception and took us without a reservation. Our server who was blunt enough and say it was his first week on the job, he was very shy yet served us well with the help of the senior server which shows how amazing this team was. We started with the best strawberry daiquiri and I tell you it was the best I have so far on island. The oka was amazing and as I refuse to share it the owner checked on us and was absolutely down to earth and such a humble lady. We order the T-bone steak and I tell you we devoured and left only the bone. The flavor was just right l, done exactly as I ask which was complicated but they made it possible.
