Update-
We went two more times after our first experience, this time at another branch. We appreciated the responsiveness after our initial feedback, found the owner/manager (whoever replies to their WhatsApp and Google) to be kind and willing to work on the issues raised. Sometimes, that matters more than anything else. As Pakistanis we want them to succeed and want others to have good experiences there as well.
Even though they were generous in offering to have us as guests, we went without letting them know and honestly, all three times the food has been excellent. I would even say that it has been the best food we have had in Saudi during this trip (Jeddah, Mecca and Madinah) and as foodies, you know we went to Bundoo Khan, BBQ tonight and Al Basali (overhyped but good), plus tried many more on HungerStation.
Al Jadeed for the quality and what you get is extremely economical. Each time the service also got better and better. This last time, the service was the definition of great service and we were happy that we didn’t just write them off.
Recommend: Haleem, BBQ dishes, Karahi

We were so excited to come here, we are in Jeddah for a few days and have been watching the owner’s YouTube videos. My mom is a fan and was really looking forward to coming here. To the point where we went straight after checking into our hotel and were planning on eating here everyday to try all of their items.
Alas, the service is something to be desired. Wrong specials menu given, then after we ordered were told it’s not available, then we found out there was another special never shown, etc. Staff did not seem present and seemed preoccupied.
When it came time to pay, I wanted to use my visa, turns out they don’t accept it, only mada. This was shocking to me as the owner seems very business minded in his videos and I did not expect to find that someone who is on YouTube and seems to be marketing to a global audience, would not think that people coming to his restaurant would find this very...
Read moreOn an umra trip all the way from UK,now have a one day stopover in Jeddah before flying back and having followed Fazal bhai,Abdul Malik Fareed bhai as well as Zia tabarak,v excitedly took the entire family in a taxi from across the city to enjoy a meal there. On arrival,we realised there was a long wait as we could see a lot of ppl waiting outside and in cars.We obviously dint have a choice but to get in as taxi wudnt wait, got our names noted and silently waited and a whole bench of men were sat there whilst my 2 daughters and I were stood and I had a baby in a stroller as well.Dint have any space so stood in a corner by the reception desk.Having realised that that maybe I was in the way of their customers I stood by in a cross manner and just then the man at the reception(the one with long hair in a ponytail) asks us to wait outside as he said we were in the way of his customers. The way he said that was v rude.We still v nicely tried to explain that we dint have a car and it was literally boiling hot outside for us to wait with the baby outside for an unknown period of time and he said,”But you are in the way of others”.He is right but instead of asking us to go out he cud have asked some men to give us some space, anyways that was supposed to be manners of those men more than this chap, but this one cud have, for a second thought that the point of us not having a car explains that we rnt locals so he shud have shown the courtesy to offer two chairs and made us sit in a corner until there was some space instead of indirectly and rudely asking us to get out.Highly disappointed with the attitude of the guy at the reception as well as all those who were sat there.Left without waiting and without eating so can’t comment on food. This definitely is not the saudi i was born in n have known for last 3 decades, earlier expats would do anything to help and welcome each other. Now expats help influencers n...
Read moreHad a lot of hopes from this restaurant but unfortunately was disappointed. From the gate the restaurant business runs with greeting and smiley faces to attract you, I was welcomed with a grim look not from one but almost all servers with all due respect were not smiling at all, which means no friendly looks. Infact I happened to over hear a comment “Chacha” from one of the server telling to the other one take order from this Chacha. I think that’s because i don’t look like Pakistani. But a lot of people understand Urdu and would consider it rude to pass comments like this. Food was good, acceptable taste, was served hot and then - 2 hours sitting in restaurant, no one came to our table to ask if we needed anything, if food was ok, if we needed fresh/hot bread. At the end of our lunch asked the dear server if we can get tea and was shocked by the response, “no” as it is prayer time. With all due respect to all prayer times, I never happened to see a restaurant not serving the customers who are already sitting inside by the excuse of prayer times. In the end all wishes to dear Fazal bhai, may Allah Almighty give baraka in your rizk and may you get much more success and have many branches of Restaurents all...
