سيزلنج — Restaurant in Makkah Region

This restaurant has been my getaway place, every Friday, after my school. To my understanding, it's normal that the preparation of food will take 20 mins max; of course depends on what you ordered. Just today, December 8th, 2023, I ordered Garlic Fried Rice and a plate of Green Pepper Chicken.

I've been sitting, waiting, draining my patience on my table. After 43 minutes of draining my patience, I had to approach their employees to ask how many more time left BEFORE MY MEAL IS SERVE? Then this guy showed me his wrist watch telling me what time is it already. 🤦🏻‍♂️ The lady entered the picture and understood what I was asking and was on her feet to serve me after hearing my complain.

FINALLY, After I approached them, in no 7 minutes, my order was served which I think has just been sitting there at the kitchen and waiting for someone to pick it up. They totally forgot to serve it! I would understand the delay if it's peak hous -- BUT NO! It was past 3 PM and there are lots of empty chairs, so the delay is on the question.

I almost had my order just cancelled but it was already served after 43 crazy minutes. So I had to had my meal pack and leave for work.

The food and ambience of this restaurant defines justice. To be fair, these two employees followed me untill I left and extending their sincere apology about the incident. But my mood already bad and was valid. The staffs are friendly and approachable, specially the "Kuyang kalbo", which is one of the reasons why I keep on coming back on this place. Undeniably they are friendly! But this experience is terrible. I had lost my appetite.

It's not a go-to-place if you don't have plenty of time and...

we order our food.. after 30minutes of waiting, still our food did not reach our table... we complain to the cashier just to tell us that first come first serve... we wait after five 𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 minutes cause i saw one order they 𝕒𝕣𝕖 giving to other table which they came later than us... what kind of service u have... my husband complaint where is our food.. just to tell us, they confused where is our order and to say that they did not make any of the food we order... next time.. make good time management for the orders of your customers.. so much...

1st time to dine in here since we dis not visit the place in december when this new dining place opened. Tried 2 dishes... siZling beef ribs...taste is nice but beef is 70% bones and 30% meat. Fried chicken ala Max is alright... love it more if banana ketchup was use instead of tomato catsup. Gulaman was colored green rather than tje brown i expect but likewise taste wonderful. Its Buko pandan and not gulaman i think.. I will surely come back to taste their other...
