Brasa de Brazil Jeddah — Restaurant in Makkah Region

This place was on my list for a very long time, although I am a Vegetarian!

Nevertheless, I just wanted to try a Brazilian restaurant, i.e. general atmosphere, menu, uniforms, style of service, prices, etc., hence I finally made it and went with a friend of mine, who is a grill buff, and below are my observations:

• Due to restrictions during the recent lift of COVID-19 curfew, there was no open buffet, where I believe it's the case everywhere else • I was not expecting a full-fledged menu to satisfy Vegetarians (like me), however it was hardly possible to trace a suitable appetizer or side dish, that I could order to have as my meal • I am a Hotelier and know pretty well, that all service staff should have –at least– the minimum knowledge related to Vegetarianism & Veganism, but what happened was very disappointing, as I had to repeat it over and over, that I am a Vegetarian person, which means I can't eat any kind of meat; beef, chicken, seafood (including fish, mussels, crab, etc.) • As per my friend, who is an experienced guy in the field of BBQ, there is some improvement compared to his earlier visit (2 years ago), in the sense of meat variety, but on the other hand, he rated his meal (in general) 5 out of 10 • Only the dessert at the end, was sort of reconciliation (for me!) • The restaurant's ambience needs some lively touches, and 'all' staff members are required to smile to look more friendly, as all what I have noticed around, were 'serious' service robots • The bill was SR 319/- including 15% VAT (which was applied in Saudi Arabia, only on the day of our visit. What a bad luck!), where I simply and straightforward would say, it's too much for 1 pax (my friend) & ¼ pax (myself)

As a food blogger, I get to visit some incredible restaurants, and every so often, one truly stands out. My recent dinner at Brasa de Brazil in Jeddah was exactly that, an unforgettable experience that went far beyond just great food.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy. But what really made the evening special were the people. Our waitresses, Hero and Marai, were absolute stars. Hero, with her constant smile and genuine warmth, made us feel right at home. Her recommendations were spot on, and her positive energy was contagious. Marai was a master of her craft, ensuring our glasses were always full and our plates were never empty.

And then, there's the food. Oh, the food! The parade of meats was a carnivore's dream. Each cut, from the perfectly seasoned picanha to the succulent lamb, was cooked to perfection. The standout for me, however, was the wooden smokey brisket. It was tender, rich, and had that deep, smoky flavor that can only come from hours of careful preparation. It was a true masterpiece and a testament to the chef's skill.

Brasa de Brazil isn't just a meal; it's a celebration of flavor and hospitality. A huge thank you to Hero and Marai for their incredible service, and to the entire team for a truly fantastic dinner. I can't wait to come back for more of that amazing brisket and, of course, that...

We visited Brasa De Brazil recently and were slightly disappointed by the service, and overall experience. As a long time loyal customer of over 16 years, I believe we have seen the pinnacle of Brasa's service and unfortunately this has declined over the last few years. I just wanted to hop on here and say that there are some major and minor issues in service, which if addressed, can result in Brasa De Brazil achieving great success and the same high standard as before.

No one answered my review on here i also sent an email to you guys no one responded. Kindly compensate for the pathetic food and service. I hope you guys can work towards improving your craft and offering a service worthy of your establishment.

UPDATE: The Manager of the Jeddah Branch contacted us and had an extensive conversation with us. I must say, this level of dedication and commitment to reviewing, investigating and evaluating feedback is unseen by myself. They truly listened and noted each and every comment and criticism we had, and I believe they can and will improve their product and service.
