I know there’s a mix review of this new branch but I just want to take the time to commend the manager of this branch. I wasn’t able to get his name but I think he’s an indian dude at the 2nd floor wearing a different shirt color from the servers. We waited 30 minutes to be seated but that was ok since we only came there for dessert, it was jampacked since it was a weekend, then another 15 minutes before we got our molten lava cake. While waiting, we noticed the manager running around and taking orders from the guests and everytime he would get called he will say “yes boss” and for us it sounded so cute. Then, an angry customer came up to him and said the service was very bad, real bad that he got into a bit of a heated argument with the manager for about 5 minutes saying why is the waiting time too long when there are available tables upstairs. The manager was all smiles and still apologizing even though the customer was raising his voice and at that point I felt bad for him, I know he was trying his best but it’s not his fault too that they are understaffed or that the place is too small to accommodate more guests. After that, the angry customer got seated and when he was asking for orders, the manager took his order and he was still all smiles while running around and cleaning the tables. I wanted to ask for his name and just commend him for still being so positive despite being embarassed while the customers are raising voices at him. I felt so bad for him that I wanted to just talk to him on the side and tell him he’s doing a very good job at handling everything. No wonder why he’s a manager. I did not have much of an interaction with him and was just observing around but he really brightened up my day by just being so positive and keeping his cool. Kudos to this waiter! I hope the management sees this and gives him a raise, he deserves it with all the chaos he’s handling around.
