MADO — Restaurant in Makkah Region

While the service and the food quality is much better in Turkey, I think the management is still able to maintain proper quality and taste in Saudi Arabia as well. Although the food is a bit customized based on local people’s taste buds I still good. The way Mado serves their tea and coffee options is unique and it is always a pleasure to stop by at any branch whenever I have a chance. The classic vanilla taste Kahraman Maras ice cream and desserts are epic. Very disappointing experience! I was excited to visit Mado & enjoy the Turkish dishes, however the food was not good at all to the level I couldn’t eat it!

The meat in Mado Mante was tasting awful I had to put a lot of salt and pepper yet it didn’t work , I had to change my order couple of times with no hope + it so very over priced! (First I tried the mix borek the dough tastes raw egg and then replaced it with Mado Manye and the meat was 👎🏼👎🏼)

I was hungry I paid 104 for nothing and left hungry! The service wasn’t professional they changed the order hardly and when I spoke to the waiter he told me the supervisor and the chef know your comment but we have nothing to do!

If you’re planning to visit Red Sea Mall early in the day, just keep in mind that most places in the food court will still be closed. Thankfully, Mado is open from 9 AM, which is a pleasant surprise.

Red Sea Mall is definitely one of the go-to spots for tourists in Jeddah, and if you’re there, I highly recommend trying the ice cream at Mado. It’s genuinely one of the best in town—rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.
