I first heard about "Saleeg" many years ago and I've never really looked into it since then. It finally popped up the other day when I was looking for local cuisines in the Western Region and I knew exactly what I had to do.
Saleeg (Arabic: سليق Hejazi pronunciation: [saˈliːg]) is a white-rice dish, cooked in broth, milk and butter that originates in Hejaz region in the west of Saudi Arabia, where it is commonly regarded as a national dish of the region.

However, there were a few basic things missing that should be standard in any dine-in experience: • No soup was served with the meal • No tissues or napkins on the table • We had to manage napkins ourselves
These small things may seem minor, but they really affect the overall impression, especially when the rest of the restaurant is well-designed and the staff is doing a great job. I hope the management takes note and improves these small but important...
