حيدر أباد فود هاوس Hyderabad Food House I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hyderabad Food House in Al Aziziah Sahara Al Oudbah, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As someone who loves trying out new cuisines, I was excited to try out authentic Indian food in this highly recommended restaurant. And I must say, my expectations were exceeded.

Firstly, the ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, with a touch of traditional Indian decor. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was pleasant from the moment we walked in. The menu had a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and I was impressed by the affordable prices.

For starters, we ordered the samosas and chicken tikka. The samosas were perfectly crispy and filled with a delicious potato and pea mixture, while the chicken tikka was succulent and bursting with flavor. For our main course, we had the biryani and butter chicken. The biryani was fragrant and had just the right amount of spice, while the butter chicken was creamy and absolutely delicious. We also ordered garlic naan and it was soft and fluffy, the perfect accompaniment to our meal.

The portions were generous, and we ended up taking some of our food home. However, we couldn't resist trying their desserts, and we were not disappointed. The gulab jamun and kulfi were the perfect end to our meal. They were both rich and indulgent, leaving us satisfied and content.

One thing that stood out to me was the use of fresh ingredients in all the dishes. It was evident in the taste and quality of the food. The service was also prompt, and our food arrived quickly.

Overall, I had an amazing dining experience at Hyderabad Food House. The food was authentic, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was cozy. For purely taste vs price, this restaurant is excellent. The haleem and briyani along with the Chinese dishes like chicken Manchurian and chicken 65 are delicious. The desserts options are really good too. Prices are comparatively cheaper than other hyderabadi restaurants in the area. The only drawback is the service. It’s very very slow. There are just 2 waiters or sometimes just 1 waiter to handle the whole family section. Dishes are served very late, unlike their counterparts like shadab. It took nearly 20 mins for ordering and serving followed by 20 mins wait for serving desserts and another 10 mins for the bill. Complaint – Hyderabad Food House, Aziziya, Jeddah

Today, 30th June 2025 around 7:20 PM, I visited and ordered a single chicken biryani from Hyderabad Food House. The rice was not properly boiled. While eating, I felt a vomiting sensation and stomach discomfort due to the undercooked rice.

I informed the restaurant staff, and they accepted their mistake. I told them I would not pay for food that was not properly cooked. Still, they forced me to pay for it.

This is the second time this has happened. The first time, I paid despite the food being of poor quality. But this time, I couldn’t accept it again.
