As this is one of the restaurants that is open year around, we actually visit relatively frequently so I'm surprised I haven't reviewed it before. We love the lamb the most but they also have a very lovely mixed plate that is delicious! Each plate comes with thick cut fries. Unfortunately, we usually go with friends and they order most of the food so I don't know the name of the cheesy bread we specifically like, especially because last time we went, I pantomimed what it was to the gent who was helping us, and he understood. You can see them making it at the very back of the outside part of the kitchen, throwing it against the heated stone and then peeling it off. I really wish I had a video of it! Otherwise every drink we've had here has been exceptionally fresh, I always order the pomegranate juice. I'm also not usually a fan of falafel, but I do enjoy it here. Even with a language barrier, our waiter was super friendly, ready to help us out and on time with our dishes. I had the Fetteh Eggplant dish which tasted just amazing with each bite. A bit of a marinara flavor and then some seasonings I did not recognize. The cream sauce on top evened out the acidity tomato sauce and there were lots of slices of eggplant in my meal. For dessert, I had the Al Qalsh. It was very dense and lots of melted sugar on it top. There were gas lit heaters to keep us warm since we were outside but there is indoor seating...

For main course we had mufalaq hasawi which is basically rice and shrimp, contain only 3 small shrimps, i gave it to the tiny hungry cat under my table 🤣 Other main order was tumman hasawi. Salads was ordinary, fatosh and tabolah, nothing was special.
I gave it two stars for the...
