AlBaik — Restaurant in Municipality of Al Shamal

I am a lady as a tourism visiting Riyadh with my family. today I ordered food from this branch, because I am lady, they asked me to stand separately in another queue but nobody attended to take my order, till I was out of patience trying to get their attention, then the cashier asked male customer for permission who was come after me if they can take my order first , The answer was yes!

After placed my order I was given a receipt, they asked me to stand separately which specifical for lady waiting, I was waiting long time no staff willing to take my receipt for preparing food, I was keep waiting and waiting and keep calling the staffs, they keep ignoring me, I became angry then I went to men’s queue, they asked me go back to women’s queue and still not will to prepare my order, I said I don’t go anywhere until you get my receipt for preparing, then they took my receipt.

After that I realized they mean to took more longer time to prepare my food than other customer’s, so many male customers who after me already got their food ready , and I was keep waiting and waiting,

I also noticed another lady customer came after me , they asked the lady for receipt in short time, I was standing there more than 30 minutes.

I was thinking lady in this country would have priorities but opposite I got this kind of treatment. I feel very bad. I am staying dubai more than 10 years never faced this kind of ignorance, I don’t expect priority but please treat me same as other customers.

Very bad experience, I won’t came back again, looks like they don’t welcoming people from outside or they have bad idea of ladies who is not...

I recently visited Al Baik on Anas Ibn Malik Road, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience. The restaurant has a clean, modern vibe, with quick and friendly service. It’s no wonder Al Baik is such a popular choice among locals and visitors alike!
