We recently celebrated my husband’s birthday at Lucca Steakhouse, and it turned out to be great evening filled with delicious food, a welcoming ambiance, and exceptional service—especially from our wonderful server, Albert.

As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The elegant décor, combined with soft lighting, created a cozy yet sophisticated setting that was perfect for a special occasion. The ambiance struck the right balance between lively and intimate, making it an ideal spot for a birthday celebration.

The menu at Lucca steakhouse is a meat lover's dream, and we were thrilled with the selection of steaks available. My husband chose Asado, while I opted for the Ribeye steak. Both cuts were cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor.

What made the evening truly special was the attentive service we received from Albert. From the moment we were seated, he was friendly and engaging, taking the time to ensure we had everything we needed. He offered great suggestions from the menu and made us feel valued as guests. His warmth and enthusiasm added a personal touch to our dining experience, making my husband’s birthday even more memorable.

I am from Texas in the USA and steak/beef is a way of life for us. I have been in Riyadh for 10 months. I have searched for a good steak and had not found one… until tonight. I am still sitting at the table. I had the prime rib cooked medium rare. Good meat, good seasoning and cooked correctly. Anything other than well done e in Riyadh has been sub par until I came to Lucca! Albert, the server, who you will read about in other reviews was perfect. Prompt, attentive, friendly and honest. I told him I hate to leave this review because the place might become crowded. This place is one I will continue to come to. Some of the other reviews are ridiculous. “The steak was too beefy”?!?!?! What does that mean? lol. Great food, timely service, relaxed atmosphere. Worth the trip to the area. The price is correct for a quality steak. I have had much less quality for much more money, especially in Riyadh. Please come visit this place and tell Albert that...

I’m surprised by the amount of positive reviews. I can’t deny that the staff were great; however, the food was well below average.

The service was very slow, it took around 30 minutes to get our appetizer and salad. They served us a very sad complimentary sesame bread with olive oil and tapenade. I was also surprised to read so many reviews recommending the salad, as it was very basic: lettuce, lots of pomegranate seeds, feta cheese, corn, and a few tomatoes, all covered with pomegranate molasses.

The steak and shashlik were cooked as requested and tasted good, but they were almost cold by the time we received them. I would say the only thing I truly enjoyed were...
