مطعم ورق التوت للمشويات الطازجة — Restaurant in Municipality of Olaya

I went to this place in November 2024.

We ordered the following:

1- Berry kebab: There were a lot of recommendations on this dish I was very excited to try it, unfortunately it tasted like a kebab over canned berries from the market, I tried a lot of dishes like this one from other restaurants, but none of them was low quality like this one.

2- Arabi Kebab: I also didn’t enjoy this dish, the problem was the cheese which took the whole flavor plus it was the cheap kind, I swear I was forcing myself to eat it so it didn’t go to waste.

3- hamsa momiz: for this dish we ordered two plates one was very cold, and as everybody knows you can’t eat greasy meat when it’s cold (NOT goood), as for the other plate it was hot and fresh, it tasted very good. (I heard that this restaurant cooks the food before you order) Maybe that’s why there is a difference between the dishes.

The service there is excellent.

Overall NOT...

I tried the hamees dish with cheese and an asorted meat bbq The hamees was a little dripping oil/watter to my taste wasnt that favorable and the cheese on top was sliced cheese which was shocking in keep with high price. Overall I have tried better hamees. Asorted meat was average in taste not spiced that much to appreciate a unique taste. However the meat was tasting fresh which is acceptable. Otherwise the service was good and fast despite that nearly all dishes is made upon order. And the supervisorof the waiters was welcoming and professional. This is one of my favorite places for food in Riyadh, howverr recently one head of waiters bald tall guy has been introduced, he is very very rude and misbehaving, ruined the whole experience, we waited for a table for 15 minutes and then he came and gave it to someone without any reason, when we asked we here first, he started shouting and got aggressive and said he ll do whatever he wants.
