I recently had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming ambiance that set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

I started my meal with their signature appetizer, the crispy calamari. The dish arrived beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. On a Friday, we called the restaurant a few hours before our intended arrival to reserve a table. We were told that the business follows a strict policy of "First come, first serve", and didn't reserve tables. However, when we arrived at around 7pm, several tables (3 or 4, excluding the 1 intended for the performers, had signs saying RESERVED on them. Nevertheless, 1 of those reserved tables were for us. My party of 7 ordered their Halo Pika-pika (H1) package (good for 6-8persons), Beef Sisig, & Tom Yum. The Boodle Fight items were more of a 'hit or miss' affair, mostly miss. Of the 7 items in the package, only the chicken skin chicharon, and Buffalo wings were worth a second take. The chicken wings tasted good, but only because the Buffalo wings were replaced with Teriyaki wings. The Beef Sisig was mediocre; you can find far better tasting Beef Sisig elsewhere around that area. The Tom Yum soup was a disaster; upon tasting the soup, I thought it tasted different. I thought perhaps their cook was not a real Thailander, so he couldn't really come up with the authentic taste of Tom Yum. Come end of dinner time, and we were asking the waiters to put the leftovers in doggy bags, everybody told me to leave the Tom Yum behind, because it already tasted funny, in other words, spoiled, hence the Tom Yum sat at our table almost untouched. They don't serve any colas, only 7-up. They want customers to avail of their own in-house concocted drinks & smoothies. I my unsolicited opinion, if you want to hear live music, while enjoying a few rounds of cold or hot drink, and vice versa, this place could be "it", the place to go to. But if you are looking for really good food, chances are you will be disappointed here. At least, do not come here on weekends when the place gets a little bit too crowded, and the kitchen staff and cooks gets overtaxed, that's when you are most likely to feel it wasn't worth it. We went to this resto out of curiosity because it is well known specially to the Filipino community. As we enter the resto no one from the staff greeted or welcome us, even the one on the front desk / reception area didn't even bother. The resto was not even busy (laxed time) and there where still a lot of vacant tables. I made the order at 6:37 pm (no receipt was given). Drinks was served first by one of the server who is not wearing gloves. After 15 mins, the first set of food I ordered was served. We didn't eat directly the food since the order is still not complete. After 10 mins the 2nd food arrived, I then asked my companion to start eating the food since it is starting to get cold. I then tried the chicken barbeque and to my surprise it was cold. More than 40 mins from the time I ordered already passed and still my order is not complete. To my dismay I then decided to approach the cashier and inform him about my concern and decided to cancel the last item on my order. He then went to the kitchen area and follow-up my order and that's the only time the food was served. We observed that the server delayed to serve our food and entertained first those who made bulk orders. We asked for the manager on duty but as per the one on the front desk he is the supervisor in charge. We told him about our concern not to scold or humiliate them but for them to know and improve the service. But on the contrary, he was arrogant, unprofessional in dealing with costumer complaint. No one even bother from the staff from the server to the supervisor on duty to apologize, explain to us the reason of the delay and make ways to win back our respect and trust to the restaurant.
