Tasters House Pinoy Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Olaya

This review is for the smaller Tasters House Cafe,t not the restaurant that serves more viands: When people ask me what the worst food I've ever had, I now have the answer.

The food was disgusting. I'm convinced that whoever created the recipe or cooked them has never had good food in his/her life before.

The congee lacked flavour. It's congee, one of the easiest food to cook. How could you possibly screw this one up? I had to add a lot of fish sauce to make it edible.

The beef mami was the most disgusting one of all. The soup didn't taste like beef at all. All I could taste was star anise-- no fish sauce, no salt, no pepper, no beef flavour. Even the beef didn't taste like beef, how did you do that? It tasted like old meat that was soaked in star anise for a few days and then added directly into my bowl.

Their cakes are quite good which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. but probably the only thing I would ever order from tasters again. That and maybe the gulaman drink which I genuinely enjoyed.

We also tried their 2 viands and rice combo. I give it a 2/5 rating.

Their siopao was dense. The filling was okay but why was it so hard and dense?

Their Asian rice bowls are edible but not great.

The bistek was only okay.

Let's just say the only time I'd ever go back to Tasters Cafe is if I'm being held at gunpoint. We ate there twice because we wanted to give it another shot but both times were disappointing to...

The food is great. The staff are friendly and attentive to the needs of the customers. Their prices are really affordable. We are regulars so to say. And we never hesitate to come back to dine. My friends even asks me to buy for them because they like the food here. I’ve read somewhere about negative feedbacks and I just want to say that we have different tastes and standards when it comes to food. Iba iba po tayo ng preferences. What’s good for me might not be good for you guys. Considering the fact that they are in the lower range of prices yet for me it does not compromise the quality of food they serve everytime we dine there. Shot out sa crew na pinagbayad ako ng 1riyal sa spoon and fork. Everyday i bought a large tray of ulam and the other crew before they are putting 3pcs. spoon and fork. And tonight i bought 2 large tray so automatically i took 6pcs of spoon and fork.Suddenly the crew cashier told me that the spoon is not include if you are buying take out only you are allowed to take spoon and fork if you are buying budget meal take out.
