Read moreThe food was great and tasted authentically chinese cuisine without overpowering MSG. The service from the Filipino lady behind the counter (the only person (wo)manned the dining and counter area) was excellent. She was friendly and not bothered when i frequently asked if my orders were ready. I had takeaways at around 7pm on Monday but i observed that the dining area were clean and spacious. There were full at the time i came (with chinese people which to me means that the food must have tasted authentic to them— an excellent sign! Plus i came here on my chinese friend’s recommendation too!!). I also noticed there were only two cooks in the kitchen. It so happened to there was an inspection from Baladiah. These had made my orders so so late (was told to be 20 minutes and ended up 1 hour!!). Hence i gave the 4 stars here. Now, back to the food. I ordered beef la mian soup, fried noodle with veg, fried tofu in red sauce, lemon chicken, dumplings, combo of rice and eggplant and minced meat. I think The noodles were homemade coz i noticed they were some uneven thickness and i saw one of the cook pulled out a tray of noodles covered in flour. Too bad the long time waiting plus driving home had made the noodles absorbed the soup. Perhaps if you have takeaway you want to ask for the soup to be separated from the noodles. The fried noodles was ok. Not so tasty but fine. The fried tofu was the best one. Even thou i was hoping to have more spice/shechuan pepper in it. The eggplant and mince meat was tasty. I recommend for those who need rice to take one of the combo rice menu as the portion serving in takeway was generous. The dumpling wud be the one i highly recommend from here. The lemon chicken was delicious too. I also ordered a cold dish of jelly in red sauce. I enjoyed it so much but i think it wud b best for summer time. Spent ard 200sar for a meal of 3 person but since it was takeaway we had it for dinner and some leftover for breakfast 🙂Overall this wud b my new go-to chinese resto in Riyadh. Pls also observe their opening hours and have patience in waiting for...
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yunlai Chinese Restaurant in King Fahad area Riyadh with a group of my friends, and I must say it was an exceptional experience.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff who promptly seated us at a comfortable table. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that created a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.
The menu at Yunlai Chinese Restaurant offered a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes, and we were spoilt for choice. We decided to start with some traditional appetizers such as spring rolls and dumplings, which were cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, leaving us excited for what was to come.
For our main course, we ordered a selection of dishes including sweet and sour chicken, kung pao shrimp, and beef with broccoli. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients used were fresh, and the portion sizes were generous. It was evident that great care had been taken in preparing each dish.
The service throughout our dining experience was impeccable. The waitstaff who were Filipina were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and always ready to assist us with any requests or questions we had. Our drinks were refilled promptly, and our empty plates were cleared away efficiently.
What truly stood out about Yunlai Chinese Restaurant was their commitment to customer satisfaction. The manager came over to our table to check on us multiple times during our meal, ensuring that everything met our expectations. This level of personalized attention made us feel valued as customers.

Read moreHoly Smokes 🚬 !! The Bad Doctor now has his absolutely favorite Chinese restaurant in 5 countries & it's this Relishing Restaurant ! Captivating Classic Chinese Chow !! Listen up, Peeps ! Get your families & stomachs here ASAP ! The management is Chinese & the waitstaff are great Filipina waitresses. Jenny was absolutely wonderful & an amazing waitress ! The decor is modern & contemporary inside with some Chinese touches 😋. We had Hot 'n Sour soup, Sweet 'n Sour Chicken & Egg Fried Rice. We also suggested to management that they should stock Kinza carbonated beverages instead of Pepsi because we know many Cuisine Connoisseurs who won't patronize eating establishments that serve Coca-Cola/Pepsi etc. because of the ongoing situation in Gaza.
The restaurant even has a VIP Room at the back. Now, I'm beginning to feel like a Chinese Mafia Boss! LOL ⚘
Enjoy your Delectable & Delicious Dishes, but don't forget to feed those less fortunate than yourselves. Remember that in the Quran it's stated that when the people of Jannah will ask the denizens of the Hellfire what it was that brought them to Hell, they shall reply that they did not pray to Allah/God Almighty & that they did not feed the poor.
Best Regards from The Baddest Doctor...
