I came across this restaurant when I was looking for my hotel. The owner asked me if I would like some chai? He suggested and we sat outside drinking chai together. When I told him that I had just arrived in Saudi Arabia, he asked me if I had eaten. When I answered that it would be a little, he invited me to come and eat. Lamb chops and kebabs, naan and plov, cola, water and chai. It was truly an incredible time. All the dishes were delicious and the meat was very juicy and filling. I was so full that I refused the prof at first, but once I took a bite, it was so delicious I couldn't stop eating it all. He told me that the meat might have gotten cold midway through the meal, so he reheated it for me, which was a real show of hospitality. And finally, how much does it cost? When I asked him about it, he said that you were my guest and refused to pay. The first day in Saudi Arabia was truly shocking. Of course, it's a for-profit restaurant, so it's not a good idea to go there thinking you'll be treated to a feast, but is there anything wrong with a restaurant with such a hospitable owner and many employees working there?
