BUTT Karahi Village — Restaurant in Riyadh Region

Recently me & my family had the pleasure of dining at Butt Karahi Village, a new restaurant. I was captivated by the amazing ambiance, adorned with a beautiful color theme of grey, orange, and black. The comfortable seating added to the overall experience.

The staff was welcoming and friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Their exceptional service ensured that we felt well taken care of throughout our visit.

Now, let’s talk about the food. The Chicken reshmi kabab, Mutton shinwari, Chicken karahi, and malai boti were absolutely delightful & bursting with flavors. However, the Mutton chops fell a bit short, as they were dry and didn’t quite meet our expectations.The Chicken biryani, while flavorful, turned out to be a bit too spicy for our liking. Accompanying our main courses, we were served a variety of bread options, including Tandoori paratha, garlic naan, roghni naan, and plain roti, all of which were fresh and complemented the meal perfectly.

To end our dining experience on a sweet note, we savored the gajar ka halwa. This traditional dessert was rich, indulgent, and served as a delightful conclusion to our meal.

Overall, Butt Karahi Village left a positive impression on us. With its captivating ambiance, comfortable seating, friendly staff, and delicious dishes, it is a restaurant worth visiting. While there were a few minor shortcomings, the overall experience was great, and we would gladly return for another memorable...

So we had an experience at the place with my chef colleagues and friends. So let me be clear with the owner if you don't cook anything in desi ghee, please remove the term (desi ghee) from the menu. We ordered.. Mutton karahi (desi ghee) Chicken karahi (desi ghee) Fry maghz Cheese naan Garlic naans Roti Kheer Maghz was good and garlic naan was one of the best we ever had, for cheese naan no comments it was ok but mutton and chicken was really disappointed. Also half of the items they don't have what we ask, we ask for mutton pulao, they don't have it. We ask chicken biryani 3 portions to takeaway they have only two portions. We ordee rabri they don't have it. Even coke(non diet) and mirinda they don't have, only available was sprite. We ask kashmiri tea they don't have it. At the end we were so frustrated we want to leave the place that whatever we are asking they don't have it. The food we eat was not by our choice because every 2nd thing we ask they don't have it so all the food was there's choice because there's no more options left. And service was also MashaAllah. Butt Karahi Village offers a truly delicious karahi experience, particularly their mutton karahi cooked in desi ghee – it was mouthwatering! The naan was also superb, and we especially enjoyed the flavorful kheema naan. However, while the food quality is undeniable, the pricing is a concern. The mutton karahi, at around 160 SAR per kg, felt overpriced compared to the typical 80-100 SAR per kg you find elsewhere in Riyadh. Another downside is the lack of parking; even finding a spot in the surrounding neighborhood proved difficult. Finally, the location itself isn't ideal for a restaurant, as it doesn't lend itself to a relaxing dining experience.
