A friend had recommended this restaurant ages ago but as the husband didn't like Chinese food we didn't go until now. We went near to closing time but they accommodate us and staff was polite and helpful. Decor is okay, simple and functional. We liked the seats with benches as our one year old like to cruise along benches. The food was better than expected even my husband enjoyed what he ordered and said he'd be happy to return to try other dishes. That is a huge complement as he rarely wants to eat Chinese food. We will go again or order takeaways to try more dishes. The menu is extensive and there's also hotpot options. The best were the freshly pressed fruit drinks! I thought it was syrup like most places but the drink with passion fruit had real passion fruit in. I also liked the fact they came straight away with a pot of jasmine tea, a common practice in the UK Chinese restaurants but rarely here in Dakar or even in France. The portions are generous and can have a doggy bag home if can't finish, they give the boxes to you to do it yourself. Definitely worth a visit if you fancy Chinese food. I'd choose this over the only...

Vegetable rolls - way too greased, the wrapping was not fresh and neither were the ingredients inside, felt as if I was having rubber wrapped in another layer of thin rubber!
sweet n sour prawns: very veryyyyyy strong taste of prawns not properly marinated, hey weren't fresh or served warm, felt as if they were already marinated and frozen and then served just fried.
Fried duck, their speciality: my *, cut and served very nicely, this duck seemed to be eons old, served with the duck sauce which was equally not good.
Very expensive restaurant definitely not worth going if you have had good to average chinese food, you will not like it!!
The only good things there were, the green tea, rice and watermelon...

I was satisfied with the taste although not mesmerized (The fried shrimps and the chicken with bittersweet sauce did leave a great impression on me however. They're steamed rice is tasty as well). The free Jasmine Tea was absolutely delightful and the waiting time is very correct. I definitely recommend it for a dinner date, alone or with company, or if you're simply curious and want to try...
