I had booked this table with the intention of having a wonderful evening with my father. Whom I do not see very often due to work. This did not happen.
First, when we arrived we were asked if we had a reservation. I told them my name. I was told there was no such reservation. Then they asked when I made the reservation. I showed them the confirmed reservation from OpenTable on my e-mail. At that point, I thought the misunderstanding had been resolved. I was wrong.
I was told I could not enter the restaurant in my golf shorts. I was told, "this is fine dining". However, I had not been given any warning regarding this before when making the reservation. I asked if it was possible to rent pants, but they provided no solutions. I can understand that there is a dress code, however, when no warning is given and no solution is provided, it is a sign of poor planning and management. I had the impression that I was not welcome. If I had changed to pants, I am rather certain they would have asked for a shirt and tie. Therefore, we decided to leave and take our money somewhere else with respectful service.

As a result, I had to dine in a fog...
