Me and my friends left the place with very unpleasant experience. The waiter (who barely spoke English, if at all, which is strange for such a big and seemingly touristic restaurant) from the beginning didn’t event tried to hide his agitation, when we asked for few minutes more before we make an order (at that point we barely managed to take off our jackets and got the menus). Waiter came 2 more times within few minutes every time clearly irritated. When we order (max 10-15 min after our arrival) everything seems to be alright for a moment. Our food arrived shortly, for this (definately not low price) the portions were satisfactory. Then we asked for the bill, we expected that it should be payed together, so we tried to ask the waiter for a few minutes of time so my friends can revolut money for their dishes to mine account so I can pay for everyone. Then happened something I have never witnessed before- the waiter which was holding the payment terminal threw it on our table, and angrily walked off. Then my friend looking at the bill noticed he was charged more than of the menu- for a dish made of pork, while he ordered and received a chicken one. The waiter when confronted said something like “it is what it is, no chicken, pork”. We didn’t wanted to stay there any longer so we payed and left. Also as a vegetarian I wasn’t satisfied with the offer of the menu- little options to choose from the main dishes- few at most- which again for such big restaurant seems inappropriate

A major disappointment. The food was decent, but nothing particularly impressive – neither in taste nor in presentation. For a restaurant that presents itself as an upscale place, it fell short of expectations. Still, that wasn’t the main issue. At the beginning of the evening, we clearly asked for the price of Hennessy XO. The waiter, without hesitation, told us: “450 dinars per glass.” We clearly heard and accepted that price, and ordered the drink. No drink menu was offered, nothing shown in writing – everything was based on trust. At the end of the night, we were shocked to see 1,500 dinars per glass on the bill. Let’s be clear: the problem is not the price of the drink, but the manipulative and deceptive practice. The staff seemed sly, rehearsed, and obviously used the lack of a price list to put guests in this kind of situation. This behavior is dishonest, unprofessional, and frankly disgraceful. An evening that started out relaxed ended with bitterness and the feeling of being scammed like a rookie. This one-star review isn’t about the drink – it’s about the lying, the attitude, and the complete lack of integrity. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of better restaurants with more honest service.

The staff was really pleasant and friendly, super quick to serve and very efficient. The food was super delicious. We ordered steak and chicken with mushroom sauce. The portions are huge, so bear that in mind. Meat was cooked to perfection. French fries and baked potatoes were awesome too. We took šopska salad, stuffed paprika and mashrooms with kajmak as well, which were amazing too. The atmosphere was lively. The restaurant is clean and really nicely decorated. Definitely going back to try out other dishes that they offer.

Wow, an absolute gem that deserves all the stars in the universe! 🌟 This place is a love letter to traditional Serbian cuisine, serving up dishes so authentic and flavorful that every bite feels like a warm hug from a Serbian grandma. The food is a perfect 10/10—think, juicy carski ražnjić, ćevapi, mouthwatering pljeskavica, kobasica and Karađorđeva that’s bursting with rich, hearty goodness. Every dish is crafted with such care and passion, it’s like a culinary celebration of Serbia’s soul!

The service? Oh, it’s beyond phenomenal—another 10/10! The staff are like your best friends, welcoming you with genuine smiles and making sure every moment is filled with warmth and attentiveness. They’re quick, friendly, and always ready to share a story or recommendation that makes your meal even more special.

And the ambiance? A straight-up 10/10 masterpiece! Đerdan nails the cozy, rustic charm with a modern twist, creating a vibe that’s both inviting and vibrant. Whether you’re dining with friends, family, or that special someone, the atmosphere wraps you in a perfect blend of tradition and comfort, with just the right touch of Belgrade’s lively spirit.

Đerdan is a must-visit for anyone craving an unforgettable Serbian experience. I’m already counting down the days until I can return for more of this foodie paradise! Bravo, momci—you’re a true...
