Legat 1903 — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

A great experience from the very beginning until leaving the wonderful decorated location. The food is absolutely delicious, presented in a very lovely way and you can taste the quality in all their dishes. A special thank to the outstanding service. It was welcoming and attentive without ever being obtrusive, but rather trying to fulfill all our wishes. Just perfect!

We had an eight course menu and the portions were very generous. The meat tender, the fish fresh and especially the lobster was melting in our mouth. My favorite though, is the tuna tartare, a perfect harmony with a twist of lemon taste. They serve high quality olive oil and good wine to very reasonable prices.

The absolutely best thing in my opinion was the desert, a chocolate dream with raspberry sorbet, made of dark chocolate. For me - being a chocolate lover with a lot of experience all over the world - it was one of the best I’ve ever had.

A restaurant on the verge of acquiring a Michelin star, and truly not without reason. The food here is honestly so sublime that it takes multiple sentences to describe each dish that they can serve you. We have tried seven different dishes, and every single one has resulted in us discussing in detail the flavour, or should I say flavours, since some dishes have varying undertones that shift the flavour the more you chew. Heartfelt compliments to the chef!!! And I must also particularly compliment the sheer quality of the food as well. Truly top class. And whilst the chef is outstanding, special commendations must be awarded to the waiters as well. Never before have I felt so welcomed and pampered as I have here. They even went out of their way to modify a dish in an unforeseen way just to make my damsel overjoyed. And the atmosphere is, indeed, the one you would come to expect in a fine establishment such as this. Is the restaurant pricey? Yes, a bit. Is it worth the money? Yes...

This is a true fine dining experience. Classy ambience, but not overdone, very pleasant and present staff, good food. Although choice of dishes is not noticeably original, it’s made from high quality ingredients and it’s very tasty. We had a meat tasting menu, and we properly enjoyed. Although it got 5 stars from me, there is one little issue that I am writing down just as a reminder for a cooks that that should pay a little bit more attention in order to really achieve perfect experience - smoked duck fillet had a several hard tendons in both our servings, which were a bit hard to cut and chew.
