♦ I was participating in a group dinner on Saturday, October the 26th form 13.00 to 15.30 and specifically asked our waiter, what was “the soup of the day today?”, because in the menu it was explicitly stated: “Ask our staff about the soup of the day”, which was priced 380 RSD. The waiter informed me, that “the soup of the day” today is a “Lamb soup” (Jagnjeca corba - see blue highlight in the photo). I specifically looked at the menu to make sure that there is no separate position there for “Lamb soup/Jagnjeca corba”: there was just 2 specified soups (in addition to “Soup of the day”) and “Lamb soup/Jagnjeca corba” was not among them. So, I was pretty safe to expect 380 RSD bill for my “Soup of the day”. ♦ What was the unpleasant surprise is to discover that the waiter billed me not for 380 RSD, but 590 RSD, which is 55% more expensive than it should have been. Again, the position “Lamb soup/Jagnjeca corba” does not exist in the menu, so it could have been served only in the mode of (unnamed) “Soup of the day”. ♦ I lost money and the waiter gained money… So, ladies and gentleman, do not be relaxed even at high-end restaurants like this one: if you will be too polite to articulate in the most direct way the expected quantified price of the meal in RSD – then you are likely to loose money at this restaurant in the same manner as I did. In the hard way I discovered that articulating “Lamb soup is our soup of the day” (with an unambiguous price of 380 RSD in the menu for the “Soup of the day”) was not enough. It’s all about even not a financial loss, but about brand loyalty, customer respect and user experience: when you get 35.000+ RSD (in cash including generous tips) for a table, why do you need to play tricks to squeeze 210 RSD from your foreign guest, who trusted your...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant, and my experience was consistently positive. The staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful from the outset, setting a delightful tone for the evening.
The food was simply outstanding. The meat I ordered was undoubtedly among the best I've ever tasted. You could truly sense the quality, enhancing the overall enjoyment. The tender flavor and perfect preparation left nothing to be desired.
Notably, the rice with truffle was a culinary delight, showcasing a level of sophistication that truly pampered my taste buds. The variety of dishes offered was also impressive, with each one proving to be excellent in its own right.
Furthermore, the ambiance is beautifully designed. The atmosphere in the restaurant enhances the overall experience, making it even more enjoyable. The thoughtful layout of the ambiance adds to the positive impressions and contributes to the overall delight of the visit.
We even revisited the restaurant a second time, as the first experience left us so impressed. There's no doubt that we'll be returning, as the quality of the food and the excellent service have won us over. This restaurant is unquestionably recommended for those who appreciate exquisite culinary...
Read moreIt was disgusting. One of the worst experiences in restaurants and the problem was not in the food at all. 30 minutes after we arrived the music started playing at some unbearable volume. I couldn't eat because my hands were used to cover my ears. All requests to turn it down were answered - not now. It seemed like the boss was celebrating, and the poor waiters couldn't do anything about it. Okay, I am really ready to listen to children's songs, I do have questions about the atmosphere, but okay. But this was louder than in any bar, club or rave. Why not close your restaurant to have your party and just not let people in? No, we want to rip off more money! We did not come there by chance, we booked it in advance, but no one warned us.
This attitude was simply disgusting for 5000/person check. Anyway, the food was quite good, the waiters worked well and understood you with a quick glance, but this attitude towards visitors was something that I have never encountered, and I hope neither I nor anyone else...
