Famous Hangout Alfresco Restaurant and Bar (Pet Friendly) — Restaurant in Singapore

First visit to this place. The new server Sandy was patient. However, got quite a rude shock thereafter. Ordered a bottle of whisky, no mixer no ice bucket, fine. At least not been asked. Ordered 2 pints of beers for our family, one came and the other one was told 'chilling'. No one came back till have to ask for the missing pint after a long wait. Server lady, Candy came and talked a bunch of excuses about the keg or some problem but sis....and casually said we should change the order. Which we did. the luncheon fries went awry, feedback to Candy and she replied to my husband that "not right don't tell her, tell the other lady." Don't understand why cannot tell her since she is the attending server for our tab. Again, a bunch of story from her and we can't bother which camp she is in. The kitchen manager was around and she instantly took the plate the said will change a plate. At least no grandmother's story. Asked for bill, $288+, was charged an extra pint. I asked Sandy to adjust the bill to remove one pint she said OK. Went away, came back later and gave me $12 cash. My question was what is it that the bill cannot be reprinted since I haven't signed my bill and the reply was, the machine was complicated. I couldn't take it anymore. Why is this place deciding for customers all the time and shove customers with grandmother stories? By the way, the cash refund of $12 was short. I too paid 10% SC and 7% gst for that. Not coming back although it's within...

Love the family like bistro and restaurany here. The Famous kitchen is just beside Hangout bistro under the same management. The owner boss here are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Most diners and drinker here are the regular customers like a big family. They have many choices of bottle craft beer or you may just have their draft Stella or Black Cab stout (these two are the one for happy hour until 8pm). They serve wines and hard liquor too. Love the vibe and people here. Food from Famous kitchen are very good too, love the roast duck go with beer😘. Will be back to try their other dishes. Usually the restaurant and bistro will be full on weekend. Book a table to avoid disappointment. Let them know you prefer to have a seat at the bistro...

This alfresco bar is linked to Famous Kitchen next door. Service was good, prompt and friendly. Alfresco area capacity about 25 -30 w dining tables, bar counter seats and 2 high tables. It's cooling and not rowdy on sat night.

Their happy hour was from 5pm-8pm so will be better if they can consider extend to 9pm to cater for those who visits the place after dinner elsewhere.

Ordered Stellar 1 pint to go along with their recommended fried white bait fish from Famous kitchen. It tasted great with some spiciness and their homemade balachan chilli further enhanced the taste.
