Fong Seng Nasi Lemak — Restaurant in Singapore

The last time I visited this outlet was about six months ago, and I left disappointed because the staff gave me so little sambal. When I asked for more, I was told it would cost an extra 50 cents. Today, I had a craving for nasi lemak and decided to give it another try by dabao-ing lunch. It was lunchtime and there was no queue. Once again, when I requested extra sambal, the staff insisted I had to top up 50 cents!

This is very different from my experience at their Clementi Road outlet, where extra sambal has never been an issue. Sambal isn’t expensive, but it makes a big difference to the overall enjoyment of the dish. A little generosity goes a long way in keeping customers happy. i went here one late afternoon after all the other nearby stores that i usually go to were closed. after ordering i find my coffee too strong and bitter so i went up to the counter and asked this short-haired auntie to add a bit of milk and she instantly turned rude and cranky and gave me the attitude. seconds later she followed me to my table and asked for additional 10cents for the half teaspoon of milk on my coffee which didn't even improve the taste. i don't mind paying extra for my requests but showing BAD ATTITUDE to your customers is extremely appalling and ruins someone else's day! that would be my last visit. not coming back or recommending this place. oily and so-so food i can take but rude behavior is UNACCEPTABLE! these kind of people shouldn't be allowed to...

Worst service. Nothing like the one near NUS. The chicken wing tasted like it was from yesterday. P.S Owner, you should re-educate the Chinese auntie on how to serve patrons. Her attitude had just made you lose a customer. Earlier today, I asked her the breakdown of my meal, she pointed so closely to each dish on my plate and replied with such a bad attitude (as if I did not pay for my meal.) When I told her, she should not do that as it was unhygienic, she replied she was wearing a mask. I was dumbfounded. What has pointing closely to someone else's food got to do with wearing a mask.
