I had a very unpleasant encounter with this extremely rude cashier (elderly woman with curly hair) at the drink and beverage stall. Came to the stall quite early at around 7am, hence I ask her politely in English if the eggs are ready. In return, she shouted back to me with a very angry tone that there is no egg and bread set today. I tried to explain to her that I am only inquiring about the egg as I know all items are sold separately. In fact, I was only interested to get some eggs with drink only from the beginning. Not only she does not want to hear my explanation, she keeps grumbling to me in Hokkien words which I guess she does not want me to understand. As a matter of fact, this is not the first time that she has been rude to me. On a previous occasion, she chided me for speaking softly and she can’t hear my order which she was being ridiculous for asking for my order while the customer in front of me is still paying for her drink to the cashier and she was at the back making drinks. She is just impatient and plain rude. I felt very disappointed with her working etiquette which spoil this great coffeeshop which has nice clean atmosphere and...
Read moreThere are other complaints here, about an elderly (~50s-60s) woman with curly dyed hair and makeup, that mans the drinks stall during lunch hours.
The first time I visited there with this lady around, I got hammered by her for requesting to use a plastic bag for my tea instead of a plastic cup. That was last year.
Second time I visited with the lady around, after I ordered a drink, she claimed that she is kind with everyone. I smiled and left.
Third time I visited, which is today, I asked for a "QR" code to pay, knowing that some people may get confused about the Nets option. She immediately shouted at me, saying "PayNow, not QR". Then she went on ranting about how many people there are at lunch hours, when there was only one guy that came right after asking for the PayNow code, and when I left.
If you patronise this place at lunch hours, avoid the drinks stall at all costs, particularly if you look easy to bully. The drinks are not worth it to get a day ruined, particularly since there are other drink stalls in the area. Other food stalls in this...

The Dang Gui duck tasted alright.A little dry and the Dang gui flavour tasted a little too mild for me.Cha Xiu was amazing. It's tender yet crispy on the outside.Awesome!
