Mookata ♨️ is fast becoming a favorite dining choice in Singapore. 🇸🇬 This review is for Siam Square 🇹🇭 Mookata located at Jubilee Square – Ang Mo Kio.

Restaurant – This is a very big outlet! Easily seats 🪑 80pax from what I can see 👀. I will suggest you make a reservation 📝 ahead of time as they get very crowded. It is located on the ground floor facing the main road 🛣️, it is clean 🫧🧼and well taken care of. No funky smell 👃🏻 and the flooring is not oily and slippery ❇️.

The hot / grill pot is very new and clean (See my pics 📸 and video 📹), tables and chairs are well spaced apart. (Love it! 🥰) No need to squeeze with the next-door tables and listen 👂to their conversation 💬.

Staff – She guided 💁🏽‍♀️us to the table, advised us on how to use the QR code 📲 to order, explained to me what the difference between Ala Carte vs Buffet. Very nice lady, professional and patient 👍. And while dining, they constantly came by to clear the plates 🍽️ and check if everything was ok. 👌 If I can add here, it's really good service. ✅✅✅

Food – We took the buffet choice so we ordered whatever we wanted except the premium set that we needed to pay extra $$. The food 🥓🥩🍤🍄‍🟫🐷 was fresh and came in a neat right-sized container 📤. Just nice, not too much and we could repeat the order again. 📝 The marination on the meat was also very nicely done.

If all else considered, I will say this is one of the best Mookata Restaurant around. 🏆 Friendly Staff, Clean Restaurant, Fresh and well Marinated food on a clean hot plate with strong air suction / ventilation. Well done, I will be back....

Eat at your own risk

Ordered 6 plates of chicken and only 1 white bowl came. Asked the staff, she said that was 6 portion in a white bowl. I ordered another 4 plates of chicken and asked SPECIFICALLY for 4 colorful plates. I poured 2 plates worth of chicken into that white bowl and it was the exact the same portion as the 6 portions that the staff mentioned.

I asked the same staff to come back and I informed her about this. She had no way to answer my question. She went to the other staffs and discussed very long in their own language. Another staff came after their long discussion and couldn't answer why too. At this point, I asked for supervisor or kitchen staff. They said there was no supervisor. So this staff said he will minus 4 plates from our invoice later.

At payment, I found out he only minus 2 and questioned him again. He said he was new. No excuses for this because if you knew how to minus 2, you could also minus 4. It's simple as it is.

2 times dishonest acts from 2 different staffs. What an awful experience. Please warn everyone around you to order the meat in plates. They will definitely serve you in BOWL if you order more...

better check and take a pic of what u have order and check immediately every plates which arrives.. Enough said..u guys should know whats happened...

Arrived after 4am and have a quick order..... after almost finishing all the food and billed...we were shocked that there are missing items which are not serve and seems like we do not have any option to check till we browse thru on the photos we took on the order slip and ask the staff for missing items... Its coming to the end of our meal and nearing to 6am...this seems unacceptable and the order slip SHOULD RETURN TO CUSTOMER UPON ALL DISHES SERVED TO TELE ON WHAT WE HAVE ORDERED OR WHAT"S MISSING!!!

today 8/8/2023 again missing item serve..if I didn't check .. cfm a missing dish.. 12+ pm not crowded yet can miss out..think I won't be back for a good real time ..Ur cha yen don't even close to milk...
