Update : i dont think you are getting my point it doesnt matter how long it took if its 40min or 1 hour. The point is that it took extremely long just for the rice and i had to ask so many times and repeat my order when it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to check what is my order. Please. And given that it is a 90min buffet and it took 40min (as you insist, which is almost halfway through the buffet and Its not even 40 min since I stepped into the restaurant) for rice to be served, dont you think that it is not right? Its not just about rice, you can check your cctv to check how long it took for even the charcoal to be at my table when it is a 90min buffet. When I asked for the forth time, the staff said they are cooking now. I strongly think that, as you have said, if the kitchen was busy, it is only reasonable for me to at least give me an explanation about why things are served late instead of just repeating ‘whats ur order?’ and wasting my time. When i said the food was good, it wasnt about rice but the meat. So i dont think this can explain how the long waiting time is justifiable because of the good food quality. So if food quality good mean its ok for me to wait such a long time?
Also for second point i didnt catch her attention she js left the plate on my table you can check your cctv But even if i caught her attention is that my fault? That i caught her attention when shes clearing another table ?
Do not have time to argue about all these things but the kind of your reply and your tone rly just makes me realise the need to to make my point clear. You can tell that I usually dont post review since this is my first review but my experience here was one of the worst ever that I decided to take my time to leave a review and I get this kind of reply

Will never go again. Worst service ever and I had such a bad experience when I brought my family and guest to this restaurant. Firstly, It took almost one hour for mini bowl of rice to come and i had to ask at least 5 times, they say ill check and never get back to me, ask me whats my order every time i ask. Isnt it your responsibility to check what is my order? They keep asking me whats my order or say i nvr order or what until i had to ss everytime i order I didnt even want to order more since the food take so long to come
Secondly, one of the staff put a used plate and some rubbish from another table on my table while i was eating. Basic manners please.
Thirdly, even the bill was wrong at first.
Really had a bad experience and even though the food was good will never come back cuz of the...
Read more“Please don’t waste the meat ah…” our waiter told us as the trays of meat were being served to our table which I found was quite funny and amusing. Anyway the service was not bad, though not like super responsive but you’ve gotta catch the waiter’s attention. They were quick to replace the salt grinder that ran out of batteries though. They do change the wire grill upon request and you also need to ask for more napkins.
We came ahead of our reservation on a weekend and they gave us a table almost immediately, when any of it is freed up. That being said, make your reservations as it was full house when we arrived at 6pm.
For the A5 Wagyu a la carte buffet, the QR code ordering system was pretty efficient. The grill uses a mix of charcoal and open flame with a wire grill to cook the meats. The smokeless suction pipe was really effective too! I didn’t smell like burnt meat after the meal! They’ve got this additional circular grill with sauces. I’ve gotta say, the creamy mozzarella cheese sauce slaps. They’ve got egg in one corner and kimchi sauce on the other.
Seafood: Salmon sashimi had really thick cuts and was super fresh, same with the wasabi! Oysters were also super fresh and plumper than average. Presentation was great! Even though it was a buffet. The scallops were also ok, but you can skip this, since it’s pretty average.
The cooked food was alright, and I was quite pleased that it was served hot and freshly cooked. Crispy chicken mid wings and aromatic truffle fries. Didn’t get the rice bowls and wanted to reserve our tummies for the grilled meat. Also the truffle fries come in a very large bowl so order with caution.
The meats were excellent, the variety was great with the different wagyu cuts as well as different types of meat. It is as advertised and I like how each order has a label with the type of cut so you’ll know exactly which part of the cow you’re having. They’ve got dry aged pork and duck breast which had really unique flavour profiles. All the meat we tried were extremely tender and fatty. Including the beef tongue, gyutan was tender and not tough-rubbery like at all! It wasn’t that oily too so it was one of my favourite cuts. So all was smooth sailing!
Which makes me come to the next part: free flow hojicha tea and soft drinks of your choice. The fizzy sofa really reduces the ‘sick of eating’ feeling aka jelak 🫢
Ended the meal with a single dessert per diner, you have a choice of ice cream mochi or just mochi with soybean powder . The ice cream mochi and warabimochi are both...
Read moreI was looking forward to this restaurant, the meat is sourced from the partner butcher, the value prospect is high.
The meat was great, high value A5 wagyu steak. The grill was a pleasure to use, although would've preferred a higher heat for a better sear to doneness ratio.
Where it goes wrong: the service was a huge disappointment. Near the end of our meal we ordered iced water, however no stuff picked up on this request as they were not paying attention. We then signalled to the staff to order some of the dry aged meat specifically available from the partner butcher, an older female staff member responded to our signalling.
She was on a phone call before she came towards us. I requested $14/100g dry aged grass fed ribeye, asking for 200g or under if available, as I was fairly full. After returning, she had a 300g steak. I told her this was too much and her response was 'too expensive ah?'. This is completely unprofessional, I do not understand why/when waiting staff would ever ask this question to a customer, is she implying I do not want it because it is too expensive for me? Very rude.
When we reached the till to pay, we met the same staff member. I requested to remove the iced water from the bill (50¢) as it never arrived at the table. Her response was to ask my girlfriend if it really did not come to the table, in Mandarin, which I do not speak. I am South Asian visiting from London, and this caught me off guard. I have never had restaurant staff not trust me in such a situation, which is even more distasteful when you consider this was 50¢ on a $120 bill. Why did the staff member need to double check with my girlfriend?
The steak being 'too expensive' and the customer distrust (to me and not my girlfriend) when paying the bill, I think you can put two and two together about why I was treated in such a way.
The staff were not attentive or helpful, lying on the benches and not paying any attention to the customers. I really do wish the staff provided a better experience, if you are expecting remotely decent service do...
