Dinner birthday celebration on a weekday. Walked in at 6 pm and there wasn't really a queue. According to the staff here, weekday evenings generally shouldn't be too challenging to get seats. We ordered the Beef & Seafood buffet and each pax came up to be about $45 nett, pretty good price for the variety of food including drinks and desserts like ice-cream. The beef, meat, and seafood are ordered via QR code while the rest of the items are self-served at the buffet counter. The buffet counters included cooked items, as well as uncooked ingredients meant for the hotpot. Food is rather fresh. I totally love the Ebiko prawn paste. Parents and kids enjoyed themselves. Individual pot style is good for hygiene and get everyone active in cooking their own meals. Service is very friendly and welcoming, from the reception to the table servers to the cashier.
If I can suggest some areas of improvements, it would be strengthening the soup base. Would be better if it could be more flavorful. Not sure if it's MSG, a little thirsty after eating. Another area of improvement is to consider doing a little gesture for celebrations birthdays, e.g. a small slice of cake or fruit platter for photo taking. Currently there's no such arrangements in place.
Overall, I think it is definitely worth a visit. The price point is good for the variety and quality of food.
*Note All diners must arrive before you can be seated. Everyone at the same table has to order the same buffet set which is understandable. You can't have one taking Wagyu Beef Set while another taking Beef & Seafood Set. Tables are typically for 4 diners, for larger groups you will be seated at the next table. Tables are fixed and can't be combined. Although there's 9 soup flavors, the soup top-up is not the chosen flavor. Every pot's top-up is the same clear soup, meaning that the flavor of the soup will get diluted with each top-up. You need to pay extra $6 if you want to top up the soup in your chosen flavor. Changing of soup based is not allowed after...
Read moreIt is like a lifestyle steamboat. Ambience is great. Variety available. Besides steamboat, there's still cooked food, fruits, icecream and drinks.
Took the beef and seafood premium buffet set, however the meat cuts I received, eg the pork and beef from the premium selections does not look like the premium selection.
2 slices of meat per plate, little to no marbling and v chewy. The prawn Xia Hua is good, better than the scallop ones. Fresh scallops are small. 4 kinds of meat, only the U beef slightly better. Compare the photos from the brochure and my actual photos, looks way different. Not as premium.
The pot of soup is rather slow boiling , took about 5-10 mins, after reaching a boiling point, the soup will boil quite fast.
Cooked food we like the braised dim sum kind of chicken feet but they harden quite fast when u don't eat immediately. Ke Le chicken mid joint is good too, so is the fish skin. Fish skin too big plant.
Fruits poor selection, not replenished, and the skin of the melon is not cut properly.
80 mins dine in, soup arrived 10 mins later. Suggest the put the pot of soup there before they check in the customers.
Left at 70mins to give ourself time to pay.
Customer service is good. Lady cashier me told us that plus a a few mins , still alright. But to enjoy ur meal, stick to the terms, then all will be enjoyable.
After peak hours, the place is quiet and restored to cleanliness. Good view too.
To avoid the long queue, suggest diners to book online, follow ur reservation hours and be earlier to reach.
Good experience. But meat cuts is a disappointment. The icrecream also out of stock. Better to have more machines than to disappoint customers. Maybe one for standby, when the other is out of stock and re-freezing the icecream, u can open the spare one for...

When we arrived, there were two queues - one for walk-ins and one for guests with reservations. To my surprise, the walk-ins were seated first when the doors opened. I can only assume the host handling reservations was running late.
At first glance, the place impressed me: a huge dining hall with an extensive central buffet of fresh hot-pot ingredients, cooked dishes, drinks, and desserts.
We chose the Beef & Seafood Premium option (which also includes pork and chicken) at S$32.90++ for weekend lunch. The dining time, however, is limited to 80 minutes.
While the variety of food was excellent, the strict time limit made it hard to truly enjoy the meal. By the time we picked our soup bases and meats, filled our plates with ingredients and cooked dishes, waited for the meats to arrive, and cooked them, there was little time left to relax and savor everything. We constantly watched the clock to place follow-up orders before the cutoff, which felt stressful - there wasn’t even time to chat!
Because of the rush, we couldn’t sample everything on offer. Perhaps that’s intentional on the restaurant’s part. 😊
When we finally looked up, we had only about 10 minutes left for dessert.
In short, the food was satisfying, but the overall experience felt too hurried. Extending the dining window to at least 90 minutes - ideally 120 - would give diners a chance to breathe, relax, and fully...
