Passed by so I tried this. I found the prices quite expensive for a neighbourhood vegetarian stall. I ordered the fishball noodles ($4) and the fritter ($2). Had a shock when the fritter cost $2 as its usually $0.80 - $1.20 at other places. I will rate the food from what I ordered.
Noodles was good but portion was small. Should have added noodles. Fishball was so-so, I have had better vegetarian fishballs out there. Soup was very tasty but quite salty. Should have diluted it. The fritter however was a huge disappointment. It looked crispy on the display but it was as soft as a bread, despite the high price. Not nice to eat at all. Regretted asking for that.
Probably won't eat again, mostly due to me staying at another part of Singapore, but partially also due to me leaving...
Read moreLady was recommending customers to try their vegetarian mee rebus, after ordering 1 plater of mee rebus, found out it was ridiculously expensive,$4.50. Buying from a Muslim food store would only cost me $3.50. How is it possible that a halal dish can cost less than a vegetarian dish, when halal certified ingredients are definitely more expensive than vegetarian ingredients.
Other than pricing, the sauce was underwhelming. It was a semi-watery Peanut sauce, lacking spiciness and flavour. It had an unpleasant Sour/bitter taste.
Would not recommend trying it, opt for just vege bee Hoon for $3.50. More ingredients, flavour and...
Read moreVery bad service and attitude from the chef. If really don't feel like being a chef then just quit. Came at 1648hrs, when ask about the dishes they have, the chef just gave an attitude and replied, "everything also don't have!" Old Boss should come and monitor himself before the business closes. It was not like that in the past when being managed by the father. Counter staffs were good as usual. Will not patronise ever again after eating for years. Not recommended for this outlet anymore. Sambal fish was not like this before,...
