Heard many great reviews for Rossovino as one of Singapore's best Italian restaurants, I finally paid this place a visit and it certainly live up to its reputation!
Here the things that i order 🍝 Capellini al Granchio e bisque di Aragosta $30 Angel hair pasta in lobster bisque crab meat sauce. This was my favourite dish of the night! Love how the pasta is so fresh, moist but not drenched in their vibrant, tasty lobster bisque crab meat sauce, without tasting too fishy as well. Angel hair was well done, it was perfect! If your mouth isn't watering by now, mine definitely is!
🥩 Burrata e Prosciutto $29 Burrata cheese served with Parma ham. I knew I had to give this a try! For Burrata lover, it was cold and creamy, goes well with the prosciutto. The prosciutto is a little on the chewy - simply incredible.
🍕 Prosciutto Crudo e Rucola $32 Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parma ham and wild rocket salad. Super Love that the ingredients were very fresh! Makes such as difference to a dish. Good for sharing!
🐟 Filetto di Salmone alla Griglia $34 Char-grilled Norwegian salmon fillet served with roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Everything here melds perfectly well together. It was very tasty! 10 to 10!
🍰 Tiramisú $17 I can never say no to Tiramisu! The flavours, lavers and texture was alright! 🥧 Torta Lava con Gelato alla Vaniglia $19 Chocolate lava cake with vanilla gelato and gooseberry. Goes super well with the vanilla gelato. Slightly dry crust on the outside contrasting well with the moist interiors, and chocolate was rich and not too sweet.
👶🏻 KIDS MENU 🍕 Mini Margherita Pizza $14 My daughter loves it so much, she finished the whole pizza on her own! Well what can i say? The dishes here are just too yummy!! 😍
💗 Ambience Dining by the river with indoors and outdoors seats. Very cozy with warm vibes. All the staffs are very friendly and kind! Great for gatherings or dates! 🥰

Read moreTL; DR: Visited yesterday for a long-awaited friends' reunion and was immediately impressed. This spot transforms fresh, authentic ingredients into the perfect Italian comfort meal. Ordered the Diavola, Carbonara, Aglio Olio, and the Tiramisu.
From the moment you step inside, the ambiance sets the tone—rustic wooden shelving lined with bottles from around the world, soft, inviting lighting, and a warm welcome. Service is prompt, with menus presented as soon as we were seated. Even the condiments stood out: freshly grated Parmesan, free of cellulose fiber (more common in this part of the world) and a chili oil that packed real heat without any bitterness.
The Diavola pizza arrived with a beautifully blistered crust, its charred edges a testament to a properly heated wood-fired oven. Topped with spicy salami, it delivered a balanced heat that complemented the tangy tomato base and creamy mozzarella.
The Carbonara was a purist’s dream—no cream, just a silky emulsion of egg, freshly grated Parmesan, and pecorino Romano, coating each strand of al dente pasta. The guanciale added just the right amount of savory depth, elevating the dish beyond expectations.
As a true test of an Italian kitchen, the Aglio Olio delivered flawlessly. The pasta was expertly tossed in high-quality olive oil, garlic, parsley, and a touch of chili, striking the perfect balance of spice and aroma with no burnt notes. The attention to temperature control in infusing the oils was evident, resulting in a dish that was both vibrant and satisfying.
We ended the meal with the tiramisu, an excellent choice for sharing. The layers were light yet indulgent, punctuated with a espresso soaked ladyfingers which added richness without bitterness. Alternating these layers, a sweet mascarpone filling was airy and creamy, providing just the right amount of richness without feeling heavy.
An ideal spot for small gatherings, date nights, or family meals—highly recommended. Recommended for small gatherings, date nights, and...
Read moreMy good friends from Indonesia were in town to do some banking. They wanted to have antipasto. They googled and Rosso Vino came up. So we tried.
Initially, I made a booking on Monday 14th April, for 18.30h. My friends were still stuck in the bank. They finally ended at 19h. So we agreed to proceed to Rosso Vino although past our reservation time.
Was politely greeted by one of the owners who suggested I wait at the bar till my friends showed up. Took a brief look at their wine list, was tempted to order the pinot grigio but abstained.
Service is attentive, food is reasonably well executed. For starters, we had Antipasto with 3 cheeses, parma, prosciutto, chorizo, salami and a serving of bruschetta on the side. I like the lemon accompaniment very much!
Followed by Rosso house salad, which ticked all the boxes in freshness, with crumbled feta, olives, cukes n bell peppers, your typical mediterranean salad. When asked for olive oil, what was presented was an unremarkable guess, but not every diner is going to quibble over the likes of Manzanilla, Picual, Arbequiña, etc.
The parma pizza was enjoyable but by then, we were overloaded with too much of cured meat for the evening. Simple things are best things afterall.
The octopus with mashed potato was the only dish I had a beef about. To me, it was overcooked and a bit rubbery. I'm more a Pulpo a la Gallego person. But hey, different strokes for different folks right? I have to be fair and say that they offered service recovery by re-cooking again. But which serious diner wants to repeat a plate that wasn't cooked as it should be. A diner wants to enjoy the dishes. Not fill the stomach for repeats.
All in all, it was an enjoyable dinner except for the octopus, with my close friends. They enjoyed it
Pat was our server and did a great job. We appreciated that she served us attentively.
I must point out that the Ladies is pretty disgusting. Wet floors... I took a look and...
