Made a reservation n there was live singing tonight by a stand-in vocalist then d actual, Anna. Vincent, d guitarist, sang well. A repertoire of Chinese, English n Cantonese songs. Some songs were sung twice coz there's a big group celebrating bday.

Presentation of food is 🤢 but taste is good. Ordered d kong bak sliders, black truffle pizza n skewers platters to share. Iced water was served promptly once I sat down. Tall glass is used for iced water while a short glass is used to serve warm water. 1st-day-on-duty waitress kept topping up short glass with iced water hmm... will prefer water refill be "automatic" instead of being asked each time she walked past to refill for us. "Just do it. No need to ask." preferred.

Understand that there's a huge group before us with pre-orders, but I can't understand how d PRE-ORDER affected my sliders which were only served after 35+ min. We finished them in barely 3 min n it's another looong wait for pizza n even longer wait for d skewers platter. Basically, our order was ready only after d group was fed hmm...

U guys really need to work on d wait time for food to b served. It wasn't full house to begin with, d other diners streamed in after us. "Enjoy d songs first" is not a solution. Not everyone cld drink on empty stomach. Yes, we ordered d 3 pint of beer (Happy Hour) per your recommendation. And another set before closing.

Live song was enjoyed by many but it's difficult to get wait staff's attention when singing was continuous. Either wait staff b more alert to keep an eye on diners or work with vocalist to give longer pauses between songs for our needs to be met :)

Very bad experience yesterday. As there was a large group of people gathered there for the lohei and dinner, the wait staff and kitchen were overwhelmed. They told us there will be a long wait for skewers. Beer came quickly, then no food appeared for over an hour. The next table that came after us made a complaint about the long wait, and they got their chicken chop first. Our chicken chop still didn't appear. I made a complaint, then it appeared. They said the kitchen mixed up the orders (really? And the food always appear only after a complaint?). And the skewers would not come for at least 30min more. By this time, we were hungry and tired. And the other customers who also waited for more than an hour without food, started to pay for the beer and leave also. The food was decent, but the chicken chop was not crispy at all as stated in the menu, and was too sweet. We were there for the live band, but the high ceiling and too high speakers made for poor sound quality. I'm not sure how the other customers could possibly have liked such a set up. The staff doing the bill at the end did apologise finally, and gave me a 10% discount. None of the other staff knew what was going on and didn't apologise either. Honestly, although there was a big group, but the restaurant still wasn't at full capacity. I doubt if waiting for 1.5hours for food that never came and with no explanation by the staff is...

I think the service is pretty bad, negative stars, wasn't offset by the okay food and atmosphere

Terrible Service 1: The staff didn't serve me or explain why they didn't serve me then they attended to other customers that came after me after I placed my order. Nor did they explain. (Also heard they have staffing issues but it cannot be reasonably explained in the context of day versus night)

Horrible Service 2: The server asked me to bring my food and drinks upstairs myself. (Not too sure about the choice of stairs/ booking of event upstairs)

Awful Service 3: We had a group event upstairs but they were reluctant to split the bill to facilitate our bill splitting. It would have been easy to just collate the receipts into one pile or indicate names. In the end, we had to spent over an hour to settle the receipts and there were some items unaccounted for.

I am still considering whether to post the 4th point on why service was terrible, but will not go back again.

To add: the it was relatively empty when we went so they were definitely not short staffed.
