My favourite tzechar go to in Singapore, tucked away in a corner of a bustling neighbourhood. Food The beancurd is a must order, crispy yet tender at the same time, paired with the sauce, it’s heavenly. The chicken in the photos is a limited time offer, which is made up of seafood paste, without chicken meat, just the skin. Price It was honestly much cheaper (like 20-30% lower) a year or two ago. I guess the recent renovation works added to the rising cost which is passed downwards to us consumers. 4 of us, feasting on a crab, a fish, limited edition “chicken”, beancurd, broccoli with scallop and long beans cost us $160 🤔 All in all, still the go to place whenever we feel for tzechar. Would recommend making reservations during weekends though. 👎🏻 Note to self: The deep fried baby squid isn’t for us - hoping for a calamari kind of dish but it was literally “baby” squid that’s deep fried, my bad

Brought my parents here to try the $50 promotion menu. Fish head curry - really not bad 4.5/5 Pork rib - 4/5 Vegetables - abit salty 4/5 Fu rong egg - abit bland for me but ok for my parents 4/5 Overall really quite nice the food. The waiting time for each dish is slightly longer than expected but ok reasonable. Quite shock to see their review below 4 stars. Highly Recommend! But maybe avoid peak time :)

Was at it new bukit Gombak branch i think. Food is bad. Sweet sour pork is over fried. The kang kong sambal and deep fried prawn ball were ok. The salad prawn i felt was quite horrible done. Tasteless with overly thick chunk of tempura coated.. no effort made.

Small portion , Over-fried (bitter) , Missing ingredients , Unapologetic . Ordered 1 pork dish , 1 fried chicken mid joints and 1 steamboat fish head pot for my family of 6 for dinner. All portions were small. The mid joints looks almost like spring chicken’s, same number of pieces for large size, over fried and tasted bitter. Salted egg pork ribs medium size was small portion but luckily tasted ok. Waited additional 30 mins (after the other 2 dishes were served) for the steamboat fish head pot because the blurred waiter served ours to the next table who ordered behind us. No yam were found in our fish pot. Counter lady said ran out of yam so our pot don’t have. Only few small pieces of fish, some cabbage pieces and soup was very salty. During payment saw the waiter serving a pot with pieces of yam floating on top. I queried why just now said ran out? The counter lady said yam just delivered! How to believe delivery of yam at 830pm on a Sunday night! Chef forgot to add yam can just apologise and do service recovery by offering a few pieces. What a lame excuse to...

Worse service ever. Called on New Years to place an order for dinner at noon and called again at 5 pm to confirm order for collection at 6pm but food was not even prepared by 615 and attempted to even check on order status was not being entertained. Workers gave me the hand signal to keep quiet and not ask. If you can’t even manage your kitchen workers and check on status maybe your restaurant don’t deserve a favourable review. Despite the crowd, I find it absurd that my orders came at 7 only despite calling twice to check and confirm that I could collect my order at 6. Staff was very rude. Even the table beside me who ordered after I arrived, their food was already served. I find it absurd that staff is not even willing to find my order and at least check to confirm that it has been taken. I would never patronise this place again. This experience was unwarranted for...
