Estévéčka — Restaurant in Bratislava

Ordered from here through a 3rd party. Was waiting almost two hours, no food. Saw an email saying they'd been here and tried to call me. I had no calls on my phone. The 3rd party tried to tell me I have given them the wrong number, which seems unlikely as my number is autosaved in my browser, but fine. They said they would redeliver but it would be cold and it's my fault. Great customer service! I waited over 40 mins for what I knew was already 2 hours old food and said look, I'd like a refund it's now been over 3 hours since I ordered, despite the mix up it's ridiculous. The 3rd party now says that I have to walk out to meet them as this is a pedestrian street....but this wasn't a problem earlier when they claimed they were OUTSIDE MY BUILDING! I'm a turist in the city, I would not know where to meet anyone, it's pouring with rain and dark. If I wanted to get soaked, I would have just gone out myself! Delivery means DELIVERY!! This was really exciting experience, wasn't expecting this at all when I was ordering the meal. I was soo looking forward to have a good good experience and I really appreciate anyone who is working hard to survive in this system, but it should not be on behalf of the customer. 12€ burger is unfortunately normal, but asking for batata fries from the freezer 4,50 and extra 2€ for the sauce, when you can select combo with normal fries and sauce for 3€ is non sense. I wasn't aware of it, which is my lesson to take from this, and maybe you learn something as well. Clear and honest communication between the customer and the restaurant is the key to the success. It should be pointed out that batata fries and sauce is not considered as a combo. I don't need your answer back, just needed to get it out of my head. Nothing will change anyways probably :) Make your own mind, try it on yourself, go there, try their meal but be aware always...

The restaurant was pretty much empty after 5/6 PM. The retro (00’s to 10’s) music was rather loud, we even got Backstreet boys 🙃 The interior was rather nice, just details felt a bit cheap. Still ok look-wise.

The food was not the quickest to come, which I wouldn’t mind, but it was desperately under-seasoned. For a salad bowl for 10-12 €, one would expect more dressing as the greens, quinoa, and even the fried fish were totally saltless and the bit of dressing on the side was too little a quantity. The burger was much better tasting but rather overpriced (10 for burger + 2.50 for fries/3.50 for sweet potato fries + 1.50 for a sauce), and even if they say the meat will be medium it is quite more done than that. A soup for about 6 € is also a bit much.

The food looked much better than it tasted, which would be ok with a bit more budget friendly prices, but well. So I missed a better value for...
