Kaviareň Doma je pohoda — Restaurant in Bratislava

My mate Viktor took me into the most fascinating pub I've ever come across in my life, but we had to go into the heart of Petržalka to find it. I think Petržalka is the biggest housing estate in Middle Europe. Over 100,000 people. It wasn't that hard to find, and the buses run all night - though with a reduced service. The Bratislavan travel app is a dodle to use.

It was a collection of about 6 rooms all filled with interesting junk and memories, and with it being Slovakia, there were a million Ice hockey sticks, helmets, and body padding parts there.

You can sit in whichever room you want.

The main area is adorned with old leather style Chesterfield couches, and there is a service bell on the table which you are encouraged to use as standing and walking room is limited.

The bloke was so cool with us. We didn't get there till 11pm, and there was only a few people in. Everyone left for the 12pm closing, but the bloke said he would open longer for €5 an hour which seemed to be the most amazing offer ever. We had to stay a few hours longer.

Old space invader machines, table Skittles and table football, model cars and planes, a wide variety of art, (old and new), puzzles, along with loads of now lost board games, and great craic.

There's ash trays on every table.

Steptoe and Son is my only comparison, and I mean that with whole hearted respect.

This man has obviously put years of hard work into creating this museum of curiosity. He deserves your money, or at least that's how I felt. And it's not expensive.

This gem of a pub is hidden on a terrace in the middle of the concrete jungle. Lopular for the extremely original decor and lovingly designed rooms, great beer and very good staff. It was formerly known as living room because the first room in fact feels like one. You can watch the eve Ing news or a movie while enjoying your drink in comfy sofas. This place also has games rooms and tables which provide a level of privacy you'll be hard pressed to find...

tento podnik mam velmi rada. chodievam pomerne casto lebo kamoska byva vedla. Maju take ze naozaj ludove ceny a casnici su vzdy mili a privetivi. Toto miesto urcite nie podnik kam niekoho vezmete na rande alebo tak, ale na lacne vinko/pivo s kamosmi je super. Jedna hviezda dole je za cistotu, je tam tma, ale aj tak ma clovek taky pocit bordelu a vrstiev prachu. Zariadenie je pomerne osuntele a ako keby poskladane z kuskov zo starsich bytov (napr. tam maju koberec aky sme mali v obyvacke ked som bola mala). Taktiez sa vnutri fajci, za co som ja rada, ale niekomu...
