Pizzéria a kaviareň Oáza — Restaurant in Dolný Kubín

A nice place to have… a burger, actually! The Orava burger is incredibly tasty - a bit like Ciganska, super nice, and the chips (actual chips, not fries) with it are very very indulgent. Tomato soup was also quite tasty, just the daily menu kung pao was very Slovak, unfortunately (not really a kung pao).

The prices are ok, not overly high, not budget friendly either. Super happy with the value of the ‘hot raspberry & cinnamon’ which was sweet and warm and perfect for winter, being also a bit of dessert with the amount of raspberries inside ^_^

The interior looks oldschool and needs work, but for some dishes this place is definitely worth a visit. And yes, you can...

The portions are better now, but the food's still kinda bland. The service still needs improvement. We waited forever, and three waiters asked if we needed anything. It wasn't even crowded! They forgot our drinks too. Two dishes were good and came out together, but they didn't tell us the third would take forever. No warning, nothing. You gotta communicate with the customers.... When you order the coffee, make sure the milk's fresh, 'cause ours wasn't, and had a brown stain...

Very mediocre pizza place with poor service and dated scenery. All of the 20 pizzas that are on the menu have almost the same ingredients, crust is not cooked properly although they have wood oven there with live fire. Sauce was tasteless and topping was straight out from the can. Furthermore, they apparently don't know what a calzone is.
